first "deviation"i realize its on the brink of being complete .. trash.. but hey, we all have to start somewhere, eh?
i strongly encourage critique from you guys; anything to help me create art that i will really be proud of
and let me just start by saying : YES I realize you can see the camera lens in the glass.. huge mistake on my part but i didnt see it until i transfered the pictures to the computer.. o_- ill do better next time.

Wow, weird. But really amazing for a first deviation. The colors are great, although I think that you could use a little more contrast between the lights and darks. Other than that, I really really like this. Welcome to deviantART!

about the contrast; i tried messing around with the contrast on PS but I didn't want to overdo it either so .. well, there's the result of that.
then again, I don't really know what the hell im doing in PS: i mainly "discover" things or i just stick to the basic stuff in there ._.

Hey, it's alright, I ALWAYS overdo things like contrast and saturation and end up ruining the quality of my deviations, which is disappointing. It's good that you know how to moderate things. But, hey! Submit more! I really want to see more of your work. And you need an avatar. If you submit a deviation that you'd like to use as your avatar, I can make one for you. If you're interested. Not that I'm any good (I'm like you, nothing I do is good enough for me).

I'll try to submit often... I'm usually in lack of inspiration which is why it took me almost 3 months to put my camera to work (for art purposes as opposed to just bringing it with me at every party i'd go to).. other than that, I've got plenty of pictures of people getting drunk!
