Description
I could save these for a rainy day but I won'tI haven’t done a lot of muscle practise. I’ve mostly been passively looking through resources on the topic.
a) I used an Australian Rules Football player as a reference. He was in the newspaper at my grandparents house
b) No refs, just fun~
c) Pad paper is so useful because it's like tracing paper. I drew the skeletal figure then layered another sheet over the top and used it to draw the more complete drawing. His head attachment (and head in general) seem off but I'm too lazy to fix it. I should have whipped out anatomy refs but didn't.
d) Aargh, the reference was someone on dA but I can't find em >:c seriously Tess crack down on referencing.

They all have a nice feeling of energy. The self correction on a. is good. You made the stance more fluid on the redraw. B. is cute, I must admit to wondering what they are planing on doing with the crystal. C. has a nice slouch. You may wish to add a bit of Contrapposto in the future to add more life, but nicely executed all the same. D. has a great deal of energy, and the proportions feel good. You payed excellent heed to the design and flow of the femurs, also very good. This is some solid practice work. Well done!

I see what you mean about the fluidity, I somehow didn't before
Hehe again, the crystal was just spontaneously placed there.
Good idea about the contrapposto! By the way, how did you get the word 'contrapposto' to be a hyperlink?!

To be honest having a fresh pair of eyes always helps clarify things. Maria ends up doing this for me, rather a lot . . . it always helps in the end though. ; >
the crystal was fun for interests sake. : )
My 2d art (painting, life drawing, figure drawing, figure painting! loved that one, and art history) professor Nathan Opp who does not seem to have a gallery or I would link him. Taught me concept.
You have to do a bit of formating to change a word into a link. here is the codeing I use < a href="PLACE LINK">WRITTEN TEXT a> only no space between "< and a" also no space between "/ a" the link goes in place link's slot and the word you want to use goes in written text. Also I love that running gif!
