At the finish line, everyone's favorite anthropomorphic McLaren Senna, Skye had already performed several donuts. But as the smoke settled, Skye noticed a rather peculiar sounding engine pulling up to her as all the racers she had met earlier gathered to her side. The silhouette of two headlights was visible through the smoke. Then four. Then six. Eight. Ten. Then, the smoke cleared, and the Senna realized that a pack of cars now laid in her view, ranging from Buggies to SUV's to Supercars and everything in between. Then she recognized the lead car: A white, black and orange Koenigsegg One:1. However, this car wasn't anthropomorphic like her. She watched in curiosity as the driver's side door opened, and out stepped a male, almost six foot, clad in black athletic sweatpants, a black T-Shirt, and a white windbreaker with blue decals on his left, orange on his right. His eyes met hers as the wind swept through.

???: So. You're the next generation of Horizon's racers, huh?
Skye: Who are you?
Velocitario: Velocitario. World-renowned racer and king of Horizon Australia. I'd offer a handshake, but a hand is something one of us doesn't have.
Skye: Ehm... Thanks. I'm... Humbled?
Velocitario: Don't mention it.
Skye: Who are those guys behind you?
Velocitario: Oh, how rude of me. This is my crew. The Signature Edition drivers. A team of 96 Elite racers who's sole duty is to serve their dust to you on a plate so you can eat it.
Skye: Whoa, whoa, whoa! Where did that come from?
Velocitario: Nothing personal, honey bunches, but by rising up the ranks, you're going after my crown, something I intend to keep. And if you want it, you're gonna have to PROVE it. Besides... *Cracks Knuckles* I'm always open for grinding some fresh meat.
Skye: Well... O-kay then.
Velocitario: *Chuckle* Trust me, no hate here. Just a little friendly rivalry.

Velocitario turned on his heels and walked back toward his car.

Velocitario: See you on the road, rookie. Hope you like active aero, because you'll get plenty of chances to look at mine.

Velocitario swung himself into the Koenigsegg, slammed the door shut, and pulled a 180 as he sped off, prompting the field of drivers behind him to follow suit, leaving Skye rather baffled. But this turned to excitement almost immediately after.

Skye: Well then, let's make the fourth Horizon Festival the best one to date!

Meanwhile...
In the shadows near the finish line, Kinzoku was watching.

Kinzoku: Very well. It's only a matter of time before I take your crown away.

That being said, the all-electric speed demon took his leave.

From a higher point, several other racers were watching the confrontation from earlier. These other racers had rather new vehicles, ranging from an Aston Martin Rapide AMR, a Nissan GT-R50 by Italdesign Concept, a blue Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat Redeye, a Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk and a BMW M2 Competition.
