Felt like drawing Twenty One Pilots as birds. (I recently listened through all their albums back to back.) I associate TOP with larks for an irrelevant reason I can't be bothered to explain right now, so Tyler is a Horned Lark. I wanted Josh Dun to be a heavy, strong bird, and the first thing that came to mind was Great Auk. Those auk wings were fun to work with. When it comes to designing anthro birds I really don't use any human anatomy, I just sorta work with the existing bird anatomy.
Despite liking their music I don't think I'll be partaking in the fandom with much gusto... For various reasons.
