Description
This is a vandyke contact print I made in a one-week summer Alternative Processes class.I might have gotten better contrast if I had opted to enlarge my image on lith film, but I would've had to convert the resulting positive into a negative again and I just didn't feel like using the two sheets to do it.

Hey now....how did you get it to turn out so good, when I scanned it, it looked like crap. Course I do have a different one, and maybe that one doesn't scan well.

I cheated.
I adjusted the curves a bit after scanning it, then I had to push down the saturation to get back to a realistic hue.
You really do need to get some pirated software- them shits is delicious!

I did scan it at home though...into Photoshop, and I adjusted the curves too....don't remember if i messed with the saturation...It still looked like crap. Not the picture...haha....the scan of it. HAHAHa....I just got your signature....shit I'm slow.

That is beautiful!
I think the white is in balancing the image, though. I would add a bit of a dirty-cream color to it, like the image of the girl's background. Other than that this is really very nice (:
