On the title: I was going to name it related to "prep for the hit" as... It's another smoker pose. I know, smoking is bad for you. But... I kind of think that holding the smoke is kind of a naturally relaxed posture, and... It works for my figures. So I am drawn to drawing that. But... I like joking about smoking being freudian, you know... a phallic symbol. And the window like lighting on this, kind of Hopper inspired. I love his indoor figures. Of course, he has strong composition, but, very awesome use of color -- which this does not have.

Ummm, I dunno. I spent way too long on this, and it kept me from doing other quicker things, and... I'm unhappy about that. Especially because a lot of my quicker ones I think are better.

Lots of work with the blender on this, but, I didn't want to use the blender like, all stiff. I wanted to use it to "paint" areas and play with mark, I didn't want to create perfect blends, I want it loose. Actually at one point it was, blotchy, I still think it's a little blotchy in parts.

I kept reworking those fingers on the bottom, not happy with those.
