Reality is a mix of randomness, coincidence, and random coincidences -- based not on what reality actually is, but what we are able to notice.This concept does not negate the ideas of deities, fate, or 'a universal plan' -- but it does mean when one begins to take what they notice, and twist it to explain why bad things happen to good people, why bad people are born into wealth and/or power, why decent people get sick, etc, etc, etc -- they are speaking only for themselves, and selfishly covering this over with notions of gods and fate.
