Description University assignment. Take inspiration from an abandoned building in your area and rethink a new use for it as if it had never been abandoned. I choose the Clackline Refractory in Perth, Western Australia. They now work as air filtration on an industrial scale. Sucking in dirty air in and around industry or large scale dairy or piggeries. Methane and other bad chemicals are trapped and stored. Clean air is pumped back out or stored to create clouds in another place. Methane is trapped into clay brick that go on to make other chimneys or just other buildings or paving. I wanted the chimney filters to look like mushroom gills. Leaning on the Art deco style of travel adverts.
