Description
A troup of young animals and humans rest at an oasis in Alaska after crossing the perilous bering land bridge. The strong brontothere has travelled far carrying his charges to safety. The diatryma chick serves as a scout and forager who had a wonderful nose for finding the most delectable foods, including a spicy june beetle.I've included the pencil sketch in my scrapbrook,

You're peleoart is so fantastic! I love all of these prehistoric animals. Not only do you draw these creatures wonderfully you make them mindnumbingly CUTE! I've always been facinated by paleontology so these pictures make me so happy.
I especially like this one. You rarely see humans included in paleo art even when it's an era they were in. And when they ARE they're usually killing something. THIS picture is just too wonderful for words seeing these two kids playing with their prehistoric buddies.

I always loved diatrymas and other terror-birds, I wish they can live today... So many animals didn't deserve to get extinct (I am talking about those ones killed by people!).
