Hope ya all like this quick little painting of three velociraptor chicks investigating a strange little creature. Little do they expect a blast of noxious formic acid will be sprayed into their noses and eyes, the beetle's most effective defense: chemical warfare prevailed during the Cretaceous too. hehe.Thanks,

Well, while I'm not too keen on the leftmost chick's face(but that's okay, front-facing heads are always hard to do), I love everything else about this picture.
Especially the shadings and the chicks' color schemes. If that's a temporary coat while they are in the hatchling stage, I'd almost wish they stayed like that forever so they wouldn't have to molt it off. It'd fit them so much as efficient hunters when they grew up.
