I love the texture. Everything nowadays is smoothly photoshopped - it's so refreshing to see actual skin and lashes that aren't silky straight. Personally I think this shot is more beautiful due to the "imperfections" people so often take out. Thank you.

I was just about to go to bed when I saw this and had to comment. It's stunning – I have seen many photos of eyes and eyelashes but never one that tricks the imagination in this way. It's really clever how it could be a sun, a flower, or an eyelash... or anything else, really. Almost surreal, a brilliant concept. I love the colours too, and the way the background is pale and blurred, drawing the focus to the corner of the picture (which is maybe an unusual place, but I think you did the perfect amount of cropping to make this work).
