Description Okay, so my school recently did a production of the Manhattan Project Alice in Wonderland for our play, and so I've been on a HUGE AiW kick lately! I've seen similar stuff done before, and this outfit popped into my head, so since I took fashion design for one of my electives a couple years ago, I decided to see if I couldn't get it down on paper, and I must say, I actually didn't screw it up as badly as I thought I would! Anyway, let me tell you about the notes I made on here to myself.

First of all, the skirt is supposed to be one of those long, flowing types that twirls out around her legs when she spins around and stuff. The pinkish thing underneath the jacket is a waistcoat that has a pocket to keep--what else?--a pocketwatch in if she so desires, and underneath the jacket and waistcoat, she wears an ivory peasant blouse. Also, the jacket has inner pockets for her to keep things in (like maybe some spare Upelkuchen, just in case...) Around her neck, she has a gold heart-shaped locket (a gift from Tarrant ), and you know how on Tarrant's hat, the sash thing around the brim that the 6/10 card is tucked into has those...for lack of a better word "tails" in the back? Alice's hat is supposed to have the same thing, but I wasn't sure how to draw them, so I left them off of the drawing. Anyway...

The fingerless glove/gauntlet things are modeled after the ones that came with my Alice Kingsleigh Halloween costume that I still have from a few years ago, and I like to wear the gauntlet things from time to time just for fun.

And finally, her boots and stockings. She wears brown boots that lace up in the front and have a heel (typical Victorian style, basically) and they go to about her calves. On her left leg, she wears a reddish-brown stocking with a red stripe around the knee, and on the right leg, she wears a green stocking, and I got that shade of green by combining all three of the green colored pencils I have, by which I mean that I did one shade of green layered on top of the other.

This was done using fashion models that I found on Google and printed off, drawn in pencil, and colored using VeriThin PrismaColors.
