Description
I was so inspired by the art and music of the My Chemical Romance CD Black Parade that I actually titled the file "Black Parade Rip-off" The color scheme, background, and the first marching dude on the left are pretty much pulled from Gerard Way himself. However, the whole monsters concept I've been doing for quite some time. I'm not saying I made up the 4th girl from the left is mine, (she's obviously a Samara), but the 2nd guy, with the liberty spikes, is a character I'm obsessed with. I named him Sid.
I had pastels and extra time in art class and the inspiration from Black Parade and this was the result. So many people were amazed that I made this in about 20 minutes and kept saying I should frame it and everything but I didn't feel THAT great about it because I could be a little more original about my art if I'm going to freak out that much about it.
