Hey you know what ya'll should go do? Check out and buy my friend's (Rurik-Redwolf )'s book! It has dope technology, it has dragons, it has rad fight scenes, it has humour, and it delves into the complications that can arise in various types of relationships when the going gets tough. Because of life struggles/ADHD/baggage I've had trouble reading and completing novels for a long time but this is the first book I've finished purely out of enjoyment and not for a college class or anything in a long time. A really good read! It's a fantastic Sci-Fi fantasy narrative about dragons with well written characters and fun chemistry juxtaposed by darker subjects, such as depression and the complicated feelings of war, realistically. It doesn't glorify or demonize but instead delves into gray areas with internal conflicts and mixed feelings that come with times of struggle. I don't think there are many books, games, movies, etc where I can say that my favourite character is the protagonist but Virith fully captured my heart with her bravery, honour, impulsiveness, stubbornness, and wit. Despite how much she's been through and her position of power she still cares about her friends and the lives of those around her. Love this book so much and I'm seriously stoked for the rest of the series! The plot and mysteries of this series had me hooked from the start. Sci-Fi mixed with Fantasy is my jam. This book hit so many of my soft spot boxes with plot stuffs but I don't want to spoil anything so if you want to find out what those are you'll have to read it first. ;3
This is such an exciting start to a series and I avidly await the next installment.
