There was something about being outdoors at night, Casey thought.

Maybe it was just for him, but who really knew? Here, in this new home called Ivywood, it meant a bit of relative solitude. It meant peace. Which is why he was sitting at the fountain with Raza, his little Timburr, having a stargazing picnic. The stars were shining, the fountain flowed with hopes and wishes, and they both hand sandwiches in their hands. Things were good.

Until they heard a splash, anyway.

Before either of them could react, a clawed hand shot out of the fountain and stole Raza's sandwich.

Was that-- Casey doesn't have the time to finish the thought before Raza jumped in after the sandwich, log in hand. One of these days she'd realize she couldn't very well swim with that thing. Today wasn't the day.

The fountain sure is deeper than I thought. More curious than worried, as Raza could handle herself, Casey leaned over the edge of the fountain. Where was she? Seconds felt like minutes without her. He had to find her, he had to-- Dry off, as he ended up getting hit in the face with water. While pulling his soaked purple locs out of his face, he noticed that the Lombre and Raza were standing in the water, giggling at Casey's appearance. He stared for a bit in mild disbelief, still dripping with water. They double teamed him?

Before long, Casey joined in on the laughter, his more of a rumble as opposed to their trilling. They were cute, honestly. It was just a shame the sandwich ended up soggy and forgotten, floating in the water behind the two Pokemon. Casey'd get over it.

For now, he just wanted to know what was up with the little lilypad 'mon. First they steal Raza's sandwich, now they're splashing her and laughing when she retaliates? Adorable! His eyes shone while watching their interactions, and he couldn't help but speak up.

"If you like playing with her so much, you could try meeting us here in the future? We do this a lot, y'know."

The Lombre paused, regarding Casey with their head tilted. "Lom?" Okay, so maybe it wasn't a good suggestion. Casey was about to retract his suggestion when a small hand-- Raza's --nudged one of Casey's empty pokeballs, and his eyes widened slightly.

"You want 'em to come with us?"

The construction worker seemed to think over it a moment, water dripping from his locs the whole time. He didn't want to battle the little Lombre, but they did seem pretty interesting already. Maybe Raza wanted a new friend? After rummaging in his bag, Casey handed the Lombre a spare bottle of Fresh Water, a soft smile on his face. "I think it'd be great if you came along, and it looks like Raza would too." A cheerfully chirped "Tim" seemed to confirm it, so he added "It's up to you, though. Think it over?"

Whether the Lombre would take the bottle or the offer was yet unknown.
Whatever happened, Casey was at least glad Raza seemed to have fun.

Today was another one of those days, Clio and Mephisto- her drowzee, were out and about town again. However-it wasn't a shopping day for ingredients like most days when the two went out, instead it was a shopping day for Christmas presents, things that Clio needed to collect and give out before she left Ivywood. Leaving Ivywood-it didn't sound like something she wanted to do, but Clio knew that once she finished the rest of her schooling she'd be back. While walking about though, Mephisto tugged on the sleeve of Clio's coat and pointed toward the town fountain. There, in the middle of the town centre- dancing by and around the fountain, was a wild lombre. It had captured many of the passing citizens attention, as he danced around in a salsa like style.

Clio smiled at the wild pokemon's movements- her mother had twin lombre's that served food in her cafe, and she had always loved the personalities that each of that pokemon's species had. She had always wanted one of her own too. Before she could move or say anything though, she looked down and saw Mephisto little body moving to the bet of the music that was playing form the small boom box that the lombre was dancing to. She lifted her hand to her mouth and laughed softly, and before she knew it, her drowzee had wobbled over to where the wild pokemon was dancing and began to dance along side it.

It was a dance off! The lombre clapped his hands in front of Mephisto and did a twirl, spinning about and moving this way and that- looking like professional salsa dancer. The crowd around the fountain began to clap along with the bet of the music, and Clio joined in, laughing softly as Mephisto began to dance as well. He wasn't moving in a salsa like way though, instead it was more of a raver! Moving in a hip-hoppy like way and everyone laughed and clapped for the drowzee. The Lombre did not like his spot light being stolen though, and quickly retaliated.

The wild pokemon slid over to the boom box and switched the disc. Soon a waltz came on and the lombre interlocked hands with Mephisto, and began to pull the drowzee around and around- dancing with him in circles around the fountain. It seemed that he was pulling Mephisto closer and closer to the fountain and when he went to twirl the drowzee, the lombre twirled him right into the fountain! Mephisto lost his footing and fell into the fountain with a slash. Clio gasped, but the rest of the crowd laughed- thinking that it was a part of the act. Clio was about to run and help Mephisto out of the water, until all the water raised into the air- covered by a pinkish-purple hue. Mephisto was using confusion to control the water!

Mephisto hopped back to ground leave, out of the fountain and began to dance around once more, the water from the fountain dancing around with him as his dance partner. Everyone began to 'ooooooo' and 'ahhhh' and when the song was done, Mephisto returned the water to the fountain and bowed, leaving the lombre with a shocked and open maw, while the crowd clapped and cheered for Mephisto. Clio had no idea that her pokemon was a performer!

When the crowd finally began to clear out, Clio walked up to Mephisto, smiling as she patted him softly on the head before she keeled down and held out a pokeball to the lombre. "Would you like to join our family? I m sure Mephisto and you would have a lot of fun together and would make a great dancing pair.." She waited, Mephisto watching too- for the lombre to make it's decision.

It’s a simple chilly afternoon as Lauren walks around the town, still getting used to the weather and familiarising herself with the town.

“Huh this town is bigger than I thought”. As she made her way back into the centre of the town walking past a few of the residents she never saw before.

Taking out a Pokeball from her hoodie, she raised it towards her face speaking to it. “It’s probably a good time to go home don’t you think Blee?”

Getting no response, she continued on walking till she passed the town fountain.

Backtracking as she noticed what she thought first to be a lily pad sticking out of the water’s surface.

“Huh? I didn’t know there were lily pads in the fountain Blee did you?” Lauren questioned a bit perplexed as there was a red flash and Blee entered the Water of the fountain. “Barboach”

“Are lily pads even a thing during winter?” Lauren queried as she reached into the fountain to pat the lily pad.

Suddenly there was a large splash as the lily pad jumped (jumped?) out of the water and startled Lauren away from the fountain and onto her butt as she fell into the gentle snow.

“Wait WHAt!?!?” she yelled wiping water out of her face as she looked up to see the prankster that startled her.

“Bar Barboach” Blee said simply not too worried of the situation.

 “Lombre Lombre ! ” the new arrival chanted, as it seemed to laugh ?

Lauren stood up eyeing the pokemon. They didn’t seem to be aggressive in any sense and was simply laughing as it mimicked Lauren’s panicked face.

“So you’re a prankster, simply chilling in the fountain waiting to startle people?”
She enquired approaching the pokemon slowly, it nodded and she smiled as the Lombre now had most of its attention on the Barboach poking it periodically and mimicking it’s face.

Feeling a breeze chill the damp spots of her clothes that were covered in water, Lauren remembered her former destination and wondered If the Lombre was going to just stay in the fountain or travel elsewhere for the rest of the day.

“Hey Lombre, I don’t know if you’d wish to join us or carry on your own way but me and Blee will have to go-”
That’s all Lauren got out as she was drenched in yet more water. She stood flabbergasted as she viewed who she thought to be the culprit, the Lombre jumping up and down cheering as she viewed Blee’s head sticking out of the fountain smiling as it dived back under the water. “Barboach!”

“Oh so that’s how it’s gonna be huh?, well then a third player approaches”. Lauren announced as she stepped into the fountain herself, dressed in her full attire splashing water into the direction of the Lombre as it ran around on the fountain’s edges.
 “C’mon Blee let’s be a team and soak this Lombre !” Lauren cheered as water was fired into her face by her very team mate causing her to sit down in the fountain.   

“Barboach !” Blee squealed as he carried on using water gun and took a few shots at the Lombre that decided to now perch itself on Lauren’s head.

“Lombre bre” the Lombre recited as it sat on Lauren’s head calmly not moving too much.

Balancing the Lombre on her head Lauren decided to stand up, now drenched and feeling the cold chill on her back she decided to get out of the fountain.

“Well I believe that’s enough now Blee”. Shivering and recapturing the Barboach in her Pokeball she decided to talk to the Lombre that was still sitting on her head.

“So me and Blee will be going now, I don’t know if you wish to accompany me and Blee home but-”.

Before she finished the Lombre Jumped off her head and landed in the snow looking up at her, as if it were deciding on what to do.
