Description
It's a Columbine flower! i sorta used this to experiment with the starting bright in the middle then growing darker as it goes out thingie-ma-bob. (if anyone knows the real name for this then please tell me!) it was nice to paint something after so much artistic stagnation. and i kind of like how it came out. Columbine flowers are so pretty! it kind of makes me thing of one flower growing out of another when I see them. they're also the official flower for the state of Colorado (which is why that high school was named Columbine)
and even though it's a Columbine flower and we had that Rachel's Challenge thing in school recently this painting is in no way associated with the Columbine school shooting. I just wanted to paint something and this ended up being it.
and of course I used acrylic paint.
