You know, if it makes it easier to draw, the Sonic characters don't actually have toes. At least not in the Sega games universe and in Sonic X. I honestly don't know what Archie or other universes say.

I know why Sonic X did not feature toes and it all comes from Sonic adventure, the game featured Princess Tikal, due to how bad the graphics. The game makers could not do toes so they did not feature.

Do you have a news article or a source that confirms that Sega was having trouble rendering toes? Otherwise, I am not sure I believe that. I mean, I can understand if you personally prefer to draw them with toes. They are basically cartoon characters and it's not worth making that big a deal out of it. Just don't want to confuse personal preference for official information. That has given rise to so many misinformed fans.
Also, if you are going to "prove" to me that they have toes, don't link me to fanart. It doesn't really prove anything, and I don't really have an interest in feet. I'm sorry, but I'm just not that kind of guy.
