Weather module is half done. Just need to buckle down and make some icons for various weather states. getting a star-trekkey feel is going to be rough.

Hey, wonderful idea. It sounds like you already have a fully formed plan. I have a couple of ideas -- what if you had different diagnostic modules. Like LEVEL ONE DIAGNOSTIC, that you could plug in the shortcut to your anti-virus, and LEVEL TWO, that you could plug in the shortcut to your anti-spyware, and so forth. You could do that with several Star Treck commands, like "scan for lifeforms", which people could plug in shortcuts to whatever they wanted. And as far as the system monitor goes, I recommend looking at Moo0 system monitor [link] . The number of options they offer is really cool, but the interface is a little lame. Also, a really good battery indicator would be appreciated. Make all the interfaces clean and uncluttered. Especially the media player interface -- I would like to see just a clear glass interface with basic music controls. If you have any questions or want feedback, I would be happy to help. i would love to chat with you more on your ideas. Some of what you're suggesting is already in my head and what i'm planning. Any specific times i could coerce you onto skype or ventrilo to chat?

Hmm maybe you could implement a hide function? That'd make it even more perfect to me.
As for what I'd like to see included further... a media player and controller would be a nice addition (I wouldn't fance album art in this skin, though), and maybe a volume controller.

most of that is in the works actually. as to a hide feature, can you be more specific? once i'm done, there will be smaller versions of the modules with slightly less content. The goal is to be fully customizable and having each module with multiple sizes and shapes. That way the user can customize the look and feel in any way possible.

Well it was more of a rhetorical question but I was referring to the awesome idea of making a good LCARS Rainmeter theme. This looks fantastic so far.

Thanks for the compliment. I'm working on a networking readout and weather next. I hate to say it, but this project is going to consume the next 6 months or so of my life. Not only do i have to make every module, i have to make them each have multiple sizes/styles and colors. It's a huge project. If you see something i'm not including or have suggestions, toss me a few. I always listen to suggestions.
