A friend of mine is really into Star Trek. I've started hunting around and i've found a few rainmeter layouts for LCARS, but i absolutely hated all of them. They're all limited and built for a specific purpose in mind. I'm building him a fully custom setup and when it's done, i'll publish it here to DA. At the moment i'm only doing blue to get the layouts setup. I'm building it as a fully modular system based on his needs and requirements. When it's done, he'll be able to swap out each layer, move it, tweak it, and make it his own. something that the current layouts i've found just don't do very well. In addition to all this, between the two of us, we already have stock graphics created for every color scheme possible in the LCARS design scheme. Eventually there will be enough variants to create any type of layout you can dream up. I already have the graphics as i said, but it's going to take quite a bit of time to get each variant done due to my work schedule and a ton of other drains on my time.

I'm posting this here to let those people who are interested in that kind of thing know what's in the works and hopefully to get some constructive suggestions as to which direction to take it. At the moment, he's working a great deal and isn't really there to direct where the project goes. Something i made sure he would do. It's going to be his desktop after all. I'm trying to create each module with a large enough font size to where he will be able to put it up on his plasma screen (his primary monitor) and have it readable from across the room. I've got several other pieces in mind, but as i mentioned, i would welcome suggestions.

Edit: CPU temp monitoring added. Working on Color scheming for it later tonight.
