Very nice. Where is Falcon Lake? Looks like a good place for camping and fishing.

Its in the Whiteshell! It borders ontario/manitoba in central canada and yes, perfect place to camp!

Cool. I live in Saskatchewan. Never been further east then Asessippi Park on the Shellmouth Reservoir. Went there in 1985 when I was 2. Hope to go again one of these years.

Oooo I haven't been to Asessippi other than in the winter to ski but I hear its great for camping/hiking! I hiked the Mantario trail this summer and it was the most incredible and challenging experience. So worth it! Where in Saskatchewan do you live? Probably could drive in a day out to the whiteshell hey?

Moose Jaw. It takes about 4 hours to get to Asessippi from here. A drive from there to Whiteshell would be another 6 probably. I think its about 2 or 3 hours from Winnipeg. Long way to go. Maybe someday. I have a Youtube channel called Bad Drivers of Moose Jaw if you're interested.

Yeah. I think it's about a 6 hour drive to Winnipeg from here and then almost 2 hours from there to Falcon Lake. I see the lake is right on the Trans Canada, so it wouldn't be hard to find. I've driven 8 hours before. In 2010 I went to a city in Alberta called Cold Lake. It's on the south shore of the lake of the same name. Furthest north I've ever been. My best friend since we were 6 moved there with his family when we were 14. His dad was in the military and got transferred there. It's a nice town.

On another note are you a fan of the cartoon The Raccoons? It used to be on CBC in the 80s. I have a file in my gallery called Raccoons Fanfiction. Made collages of most of the voice actors that were on the show and written some fanfics if you're interested.

Do you live in Manitoba? It looks like a lot more lakes and forested areas than Saskatchewan. Of course I live on the Prairies. It's a 6 hour drive from here to Prince Albert. Never been there. It's known as the gateway to the north, since it's on the North Saskatchewan River, which divides the prairies from the Boreal Forest. You'd have to go up there to see plenty of giant lakes and forest. Cold Lake for example.

Beautiful colour and reflection off the water. The contrast with the horizon and cloud is wonderful. Great shot.

I have hawks, not falcons, flying over my home this morning. Something's probably going on.

Beauuutiful! Like a peaceful paradise living it's on life, no worries what so ever. Still water is my favorite!
I used to spend my summers with my granddad by the sea and remember the walks down the coast line, all the colors in the sky, the breeze, the smell of the water... lovely!

Nice pic, I agree with the cloud comments. It looks looming and contrasts with the tranquility of the rest of it, which is neat.

I can't help but smile at the cloud form dancing so closely above the water, or seemingly.

A magical scene indeed.
