I really really like this. Great concept and the contrast between the two hands is awesome. It contrast in multiple ways....texture and color. Now....I am gonna kinda get at ya on this one. You gotta think about shooting a shot in the field JUST for tonemapping. That generally can have a bunch of rules but the one that should be at the top of the list is ISO. You want to shoot at THE lowest ISO speed you can possibly shoot. Why? Tonemapping TRULY brings out noise in a shot. This was shot at 400 and that is as high as I will generally shoot any shot I plan to tonemap. Even then I have to go way heavy on the noise filtering in LR. Now please remember this is just me and I am still fairly new to it so someone out there may have better advice about that than me. I also kno that this may of been a shot you took a while back and there isnt anything you can do about that.

It's interesting how this sort of relates to zombies.. or is a photo of one, rather? Mostly because.. I don't know. It feels like quite a giving sort of stance, if that makes sense? As if the zombie was offering something and still had a bit of humanity still within them... it reminds me of this zombie series where the person gets turned into a zombie and they still.. yeah it's pretty interesting!
I really like the way the background complements the foreground in colour and tone, as that seems to emphasise the concept further.
Great atmosphere as well.

i understand why they have the hype they do surrounding them, and definitely agree that they have earned it; but seriously nothing can beat tracks like 'Strangers' or 'Wandering Star' or 'Numb'.
