Lack of blood? Heck no it doesn't detract. I didn't even notice it. How would I know what's perfectly realistic? Just that some injuries bleed, and some don't. Maybe the lack of over the top blood is indicative of method. For me, I just liked the contrast.
YAY PROJECTS. I wanna get some latex and try some more wounds, myself! It's so fun. xD
