Venus in Fear is a 1:44 instrumental from the album Cruelty and the Beast , circa 1998, by Cradle of Filth . Easily my favorite album of all time - you can't win an argument with me over it.

That's expressive!
I love the play of light and shadow here - they seem to be fighting over each inch of face. Also, the contrast between the dark shadow on the left and lit face on the right expresses the fear very well, in my opinion.
I like the colours and how they seem to be slightly dirty. Again, it expresses the fear very much.
The things on the eyes (or rather... in the place where eyes should be) - are they some kind of strings? Anyway, they look fantastic. I can't be sure whether the eyes are still in their place, or have these strings taken over them. And that's a pretty scary thought.
Oh, and the song..., no thanks, I prefer your picture.

For a very weird second, I thought that was peanut butter across someone's eyes, which just confused the hell out of me. but then I saw and I was like cool. the lip is really the best part for me, it's subtle but lit so that you're still seeing it. Nice work on this one.

Also, Venus in Fear is an amazing combination of sex and horror that forces the mind to imagine what exactly is going on. In my opinion, it's a Satanic sexual sacrifice, with one female victim chosen to bear witness to the nightmares unfolding. Or it's the worst porn ever.
Again, I just love this. it gave me chills.
