Refreshing for the Yahoo brand. Maybe a much more 'Indian' image wouldve been a good touch.

I dont think an Indian image will violate any Yahoo branding rules. Infact regionalisation is a part of Yahoo's branding strategy.

Very interesting. Any reasons you went with purple?

Purple=Yahoo official color!
Fact: Yahoo was just started and it was a small thing then without any funds and so the cheap color in the US is purple and so Yahoo used purple as thr brand color!

mmmm! i do like the colours. same goes to the jolly good photos.
the only 'minus' is the purple horisontal line in the bottom of the second page.

Very nice... I like how the navigation is setup. Seems it'd be a very easy site to get around...
