Rooting through my external hard drive and came across a bunch of Barbary lions I made back when I still knew what lion anatomy was (kinda xD) they were going to be adopts...but the more I looked at one, the more I liked the idea of him being Issa's dad >> so I edited 2's colour's to Issa's...I don't like the shade on the design, but I can't change it atm. Reason can be found under the Rant section.So what do you guys think? It would make Issa half barbary

He'd only be a young adult above, so it would get slightly longer ^ ^ not as long as daddy's (which also isn't fully grown, he's about 3 here) but still long and floofy. Not sure if a Leucistic Barbary lion ever existed, but hey screw the rules its a cartoon. Reality doesn't matter x'D I really like the design, but I'm not sure if the markings are too...out there...for TLK...I know TLG introduces a lot of new markings, but is this pushing it? xDD at least when Kiara "cheats" she has good taste...I shouldn't joke since cheating is wrong, but so is forcing two people who no longer love one another to stay together.

My Cintiq cable severed at the HDMI port...replacements are stupidly expensive, oh and NEVER in fecking stock. Like for God's sake Wacom. You got £900 for the actual tablet and you let me down when I need a replacement cable? Oh and the cherry on the cake? USA - $34 UK- £49 so like $70. WTF . Why do I have to pay so much more because I live in the UK? We have Wacom stores here, surely a company as big as Wacom has a method to reduce import fee's? -w- pretty sure all the items are made in Japan anyway, so why do the US still pay so much less? =/=
There you go folks. My first big complaint/issue with the Cintiq 13HD- to people looking to get one; expect to get ripped off with every little thing that goes wrong with it. Pen dies? That's $120 please. Oh you need a screen protector now? $30-$50. But if you live in Europe, expect to pay double the amount people in the US do. K thanks, bye!
So glad I kept my old tablet...but its so weird looking at my laptop screen...and because I have the Cintiq drivers installed, I can't install it properly, so no pen pressure...yay! oh and the cursor is like a mile away from where it should be O.o
I'm having fun. Technology hates me. Got my laptop back. They returned it with a dead battery and refuse to send a replacement, eve though it should fall under the warranty. It's also now got dead pixels on the start screen...So yay, I can't move without turning my laptop off since the battery is on 0...They got close to the region of £200 and the sent it back like this? =w=; Not impressed.

This is also true! Reminds me of a lion documentary I watched- a young female adolescent lioness they nicknamed "the ugly duckling" due to her huge eyes and ears and lanky body...they followed up on her about a year later, and she grew up to be an absolutely stunning, perfectly proportioned muscular lioness :¬)

I'm sorry to hear about your technological troubles. Tablets are stressful. I still have no idea what to do with the tablet I got from my uncle.
Commissions and/or adoptables would be a great idea, if you are still able to draw.

Technology hates me x'DD Tablets take a lot of getting used to, but it's important to keep at it ^ ^ like with everything else, you don't just wake up one morning a pro, it takes years- you may have a natural talent at something, but you're never going to be a master till you put your all in and work your butt off for it ^w^
Same goes with drawing lions- reference pictures; lots of them!!! its easy to look at a photo and think; 'nah...that pose looks too hard.' But if you don't try you're denying yourself information that will eventually help you in drawing your own poses from what you know about movement/placement/structure
and always remember, it's okay to have bad days. Days where nothing you draw looks right and you question if you could ever do it at all. It's there, and usually you'll find once you get past it, you'll be even better than you were before ^ ^ it's like an obstacle course
My mum's partner is a builder- he knows how to do wiring, and has offered to look at my cable- it's severed already, so there's not really much more he can do in the way of damaging it...I showed it to him earlier and he thinks he has something he can use, need to wait for him to get in from work tomorrow to find out if he can fix it since he leaves for work at 5am- I will still need a new one since it's going to require cutting into the plastic coating to get to the wires, but if it works it should hold out till I can get one u.u

I need to work some of his parents features into him, but I think for a base mane and body shape, it works quite well for Issa x'3 Just need to edit his colours some so he's not so pink
It's annoying...I love how the greys look, but he really just doesn't fit in...but I'm not keen on blonde since then he becomes a generic TLK fandom white lion u,u

Have you thought to offer commissions to help pay for cable replacement? Or can you still draw even without your cintiq? I ask because this is why I still have my old intuous4 for situations like this.

Yeah, it's so bad =/ These tablets are stupid expensive...and they never seem to have replacement parts in stock =/ in retrospect...that says a lot about the tablets as a whole =w=; think when my Cintiq's done, I'll go for one of the £200 non branded replacements. I know so many people who've bought them. The specs aren't as high as Wacoms, but they work just as well and are a fraction of the price u.u

Let me know how they work when you do! I'm considering that the same route after Knock Out, my Cintiq bites the big one too. I bought him gently used 400$ USD from a friend in Canada.
