It was a warm late spring morning as Shelby led the newest edition to her thoroughbreds out to pasture. Scarlett swiftly trotted to keep up with her mother’s long strides. Shelby smiled fondly remembering Dex and Del doing the same three years ago. Once she was in pasture, Scarlett ran circles around her unfazed mother. When Scarlett can up close to Shelby, she captured this rare image of Scarlett standing still. Shelby was looking forward to the long years ahead of her and Scarlett.

The Hyper It’s rare to see Scarlett still; even in her sleep she fidgets. She constantly has to be doing something whether, it be twitching an ear or running in circles. Shelby is looking forward to working with the filly because this may mean Scarlett possesses great speed and stamina. Something that would be wonderful on the track.
The Practical No need to worry about this horse spooking at nothing. A bag’s a bag to her. If it’s not got teeth or claws she sees no need to be frightened. Her practical nature also makes her a bit stubborn to work because all that lunging sure seems useless to her. On the other hand, she’ll pick up on everything she’s taught very quickly.
The Caring Scarlett is a sweet filly at her core though, sometimes it’s hard to reach because of her other natures. Scarlett seems to understand what others feel and will often rest her head on Shelby’s lap when Shelby is stressed out. She’ll take care of her rider and make sure no harm comes to them.
