Description
Name: Thomas JakobAge: 29
Date of Birth: May 15, 1986
Gender: Male
Species: Human
Personality:
This mysterious figure is a laid-back former-Prince of the human city of Johen, rival to Xaoc, similarly to the white wolf he's also a racist. Hating furries, he was an apathetic leader who merely cared for his people's lives, but above all himself. Not exactly a villain, he was loyal to his city and was willing to share his riches with his people, but it's wondered whether he deserved to be erased from time and space. After his original erasure, no one knowing why he was allowed to come back into existence, being completely forgotten by the people he once ruled over has gotten him to wonder what to do with the new life he's been given - he has no job, no family or friends, no home, he only knows that the person who had erased him must be punished, and plans to fight against Xaoc. Though laid-back, calm and cool, being able to deal with high-stress situations, he is still rather socially awkward in other ways. Case in point? Upon returning to existence, he shoved a sushi in someone's face and didn't know why he did it. Yep.
Voice: Dante Basco
Picture/Description:
A slender, somewhat average-height male whose face and body is mostly hidden. He has white skin, almost pale, with brown hair nearly covering his face due to his thick beard, sideburns, and mustache along with his unkempt hair captured within the hood of his long-sleeve jacket. Though his blue jeans are average and boots seem normal, he's a notable figure that doesn't exactly blend in due to three factors. These three factors are his belt, the sunglasses(worn even at night and in buildings), and those normal-looking boots. The boots contain weapons, though rather strange in design, they are sort of brought with him from his original existence and in his younger years were trained in the usage of them - hidden weapons, by their very nature, seem much easier to use without being a "warning sign" that the person has weapons on them. If they are hidden, by their very definition they are unknown, thus he wears them everywhere, ready to surprise people who attack him. The belt, being a clock, just seems random and out of place, a funny quirk or due to awkwardness caused by being removed from existence temporarily? Who knows - same goes for the glasses, though he may be using them to slightly hide his face, more specifically his eyes, from people who do recognize him. If anyone does recognize him, he doesn't know how they may react, especially given the conditions that his own people didn't remember him, who would? Simply put, using the glasses keeps him safe from anyone Xaoc may send at him if Xaoc were to learn he was back and remembered him, himself.
Paranoia is the reason he wears the glasses.
Background/History:
Thomas Jakob was born in Johen as a single child, to reign over the city as one of the three figure heads of Tristitia in his older days. Trained in the usage of rather odd boots, he was educated at home by his parents as opposed to dealing with the schools in Johen. Eventually, after his parents passed, he took the throne with honor, though eventually he spat on their name through his actions. After a meeting with Xaoc a month afterwards, the two nearly started another Civil War for reasons beyond understanding, lost to the sands of time now. He cared for his people, a little too much in fact. Laws were passed so that furries or furry-human hybrids could very well be hanged for any crime they did when in the area, no matter what it is. They could just steal, and they would be hanged. Even the humans of the city found this unfair, considering the idea of potential genocide, so Thomas proceeded to try and cut communications with Sliam, fearing that the humans of the area were being “corrupted”. As a response, once Xaoc had learned of all of these events, he sent assassins. Not to kill the human prince, but to capture him.
They succeeded in their mission, having knocked him out and put him into a bag, before taking him to an old, abandoned military base in the sky known as Storm Station. In early years, Sliam planned to use the weather as a weapon with the power of this flying fortress, but many blamed it for the Shockra Storm to come afterwards, sort of a punishment by the gods of shockra for trying to control nature with technology built for war. This time, it was not used for war, but for something else… a machine was on the ship. When turned on, it appeared to be a portal to nothing. When Prince Thomas woke up, he was bolted down to a table, confused. Xaoc himself pushed him into the portal, and Thomas felt extreme pain as body parts just faded from existence before him, until finally his heart disappeared into the void, in which he was effectively dead. When pushed entirely through, Xaoc was proud with his work… but no one else was around. The machine, which was built specifically for Thomas, faded away before him. Thomas never existed in the world he accidentally created, and for some reason, Xaoc seemed to care… Xaoc cried where the machine once was, after he had done the deed, only to be alone in the ship.
“Emptiness. Nothing. There was literally nothingness. I float there for years and years, the sensory deprivation of this here void trapping my mind in insanity and impurity... who am I? Where did I come from? What was my name? What did I look like? I couldn't answer any of these questions until recently... somehow, I existed again.
Years ago, I ruled over the city of Johen. After the nigh-destruction of my poor city before I ever reigned, things were slow, I was trying my best to help the people, fix the damages from the Shockra Storm. I despised Xaoc, Sliam, Tantibus... it's my human nature, after all. Eventually, I was captured. The poor bastards just had to do it, didn't they? For some reason, during peacetime in Tristitia, they took me from my throne and brought me to an abandoned Sliamese battle station known as the Storm Station... there, they strapped me down, and planned to shove me into a machine that would sacrifice my existence for Shockra to use as fuel by my captors, led by that white wolf. The Prince with the silver spoon in his mouth just had to be the one to press the button, only to return everything to zero. One second, I'm on the Storm Station, the next, I'm in a hole in the wall, just above an even more damaged city of mine. Rocks having fallen into the canyon, an entire platform blocking the sunlight from my city. I exist again, only to see the damage caused by Xaoc. Is it wartime amongst Tristitia again already? I tried to return to my city, but no one recognized me. I once didn't exist. To them, I still don't exist.
In the end, I left the city, unsure of what to do or say in that situation. I had no control over the situation - they didn't know who I was, they had a new ruler who didn't acknowledge me, they thought I was insane for insisting I was the Prince when there was this imposter before me. So I walk alone now, traveling as I will, because I don't know what to do. Face off against Xaoc? Would he remember me?
Do you know how it feels to live in a world that is the same... except that you don't exist?!”
Powers/Abilities:
Boots: Authentic leather boots from the United States, with neat little additions. With a kick, he fires a bullet, and there's a small pedal in the front of the boot that is just easy enough to press so that there isn't much delay in firing the blade at the heel of the shoe, but also not so loose that it consistently fires when he walks(though during some situations it can misfire if he's not careful - there's technically a safelock in case that happens that keeps it from automatically firing, which creates the firing delay - 1/4 chance of getting a misfire, though he make it into a 1/8 chance of misfire if under under the effects of Quantum Immortality/Super Luck). With these shoes being his main weapons, he's mostly a kicker, his fighting style revolving around kicks and based on breakdancing. The guns in the shoes are comparable to semi-automatic machine guns in the firing speed, ammo, and ammo count, though none of this is exactly specified due to the way of fire(kicking), meaning that firing speed relies on a human leg's speed, limiting it slightly.
Rapid-Fire Kick: After a swift, strong kick, he stands on one leg as he keeps kicking with the other, shooting the opponent(usually point-blank shots, considering how close it'd need to be for the initial kick).
Spin Blade/Gun Fire: Doing any sort of spin, specifically while closer to the ground, bullets and/or blades fly around from a center point outward in a circular motion, covering a small portion of the arena with a 5 foot radius(with only the blades) or higher range. This is a good move to flow into from other moves if an opponent is within range, especially if they are down.
II. Abilities
Teleportation/Time Ignorance: If an opponent time travels, teleports, or stops time while fighting(most likely when within 10 feet of him), he will do so with them. Stopping time? He isn't effected like everyone else. Teleportation? He will be in the exact same distance, direction, and time relative to you as he was before, making the teleport useless. This can be used against him to canceling out his bubble abilities.
Hover: Simply the ability to float.
Bubble: A temporary blocking/parrying move, he bends spacetime around an appendage to cause weapons to bounce off or get absorbed into a void temporarily. If absorbed, he can summon them back through a second use of the bubble, launching whatever got absorbed(most frequently bullets) back at the opponent.
Bubble Bend: He bends space around himself, before pushing himself through the fabric of space time to dodge attacks or teleport.
Bubble Blade/Bullet: Using the bubble on his own weapons, he can redirect them at opponents, even stretching their range exponentially(the Blade can potentially have 3125 feet range)
Bubble Blast: A form of the Pyroboom move that Pyro uses, he bends space around himself or other objects before pushing them through the other side of the bubble. Considering the bubble is bending into and through itself to push objects through, effectively in doing this he’s temporarily turning a small portion of spacetime inside out before it returns back to normal with ripples of a 2.5 feet radius range to deal minor damage to nearby opponents having to deal with the ripples. This can also work as a very limited, makeshift telekinesis by using this on objects other than himself to launch them around.
Bubble Rush: Similarly to Ace’s Phantom Rush, he appears around the area in a blur of afterimages, before launching a final attack from one of his weapons. Unlike Ace, he can be damaged like this, if you can hit the afterimages before they fade away, which is incredibly difficult considering how long they last. The ripples through space caused by the bending and pushing through space are also in effect here, same range to deal minor damage.
Big Break: For 5 posts, the user rolls a D20 on each post to determine the cost of the ability and what happens. From 20-17, the playfield will be greatly placed in the favor of the user, Thomas, by doing something lucky for him AND unlucky for the opponent. From 16-13, the levelfield will be slightly put in favor of Thomas, either doing something unlucky against the opponent or lucky for him(but not both. Decided by coin toss). Roll a 12-9, and ABSOLUTELY NOTHING(a smile just flashes in the sky. Here, have a smile. It’s free.) Roll an 8-5, and the user is mildly unlucky or the opponent is mildly lucky(once again, decided by coin toss). And finally, a 4-1 is known as an EPIC FAIL/Critical Fail, as the opponent gets something lucky AND the user, Thomas, gets something unlucky. Whether the effects help or hurt the opponent, it’s the owner of the opponent character or generally the person being RPed with that decides whether they do the rolls or not. Rolls are not absolute, any site that does dice rolling can be allowed as long as it has both a coin/D2 and a D20 option at least. All rolls must be shared for the mana calculation if the rolls are done by the other RPer. Finally, whatever happens caused by the number on the roll must be capable of being fought - these are not extreme luck or lack thereof, they are simply minor advantages, depending on the environment and the current situation. Imagine Thomas playing Russian Roulette, as a way to explain this better. Whether I or the other RPer rolls the dice, if Thomas gets above 12, Thomas survives or the next person after dies. If in the mid-range, Thomas is unaffected by the roll. And if below 9, Thomas dies(or gets severely injured, though that’s very unlikely in this example) or the next person after him survives.
Space Bending: A more extreme form of the Bubble abilities, this can also be called “Space Manipulation”. Considering that you can’t exactly conjure space, and the extremity of this ability, this may be the only manipulation-ability that will cost energy, or at least, it is now. Also, consider the fact that all of these abilities extend from space manipulation/bending(excluding Big Break), but that in a pure form, untouched by practice or even its own name, it absolutely DRAINS him. Effectively, ripping temporary(as in, 1 - 2 posts) holes in the fabric of space time, literally bending space as to go at a speed known as “Warp Speed”(which… isn’t exactly a speed, more or less how they describe something crossing a greater distance over a shorter time than the speed of light would allow. If you bend space, you aren’t going the distance, you are going AROUND it, creating a shortcut), and all of this can only be done once before the energy takes effect. Effectively, this is an easy escape tactic, only for the ripples in spacetime to hit afterwards, dealing same damage as Bubble Blast’s ripples, and even then using this ability means you are trying to escape the battle at all costs.
The Nonexistent: A Pseudo-Super Form. Though he himself doesn’t change, he warps himself not just into a bubble, but into a special state that is called “The Nonexistent”, “Phantasmal”, or those who understand that he’s using shockra to pull these tricks off, “Feignical”. Effectively, to be “Feignical” is to be outside of timespace, but to still be visible within it and to effect it through the use of shockra and/or antishockra. In this state, his form is mind boggling, bending and wrapping around people’s vision as they try and keep track of him whizzing past their view. Not only does it confuse the opponent, but while in this state he can still physically attack. The version of himself you see will have an after-image, and the after-image will also be somewhat physical, capable of hitting you even if the “true” version misses. A good way to visualize this, is multiple clones running around someone at extreme speeds, following each other, and all capable of attacking. You can attack him while he’s like this, but it will be difficult. It lasts for 5 posts, as usual, but not only will Thomas be drained when he comes back, but he will be absolutely knocked-out. If he takes this form, similarly to Space Bending, it’s a last resort.
Extra Information:
A mostly pure human, the space element makes him extremely weak to any attacks related to the “Void” element, and slightly weak to soul, emotions, and/or the Plasma state of matter normally given the term “Pure Energy”. Meanwhile, he’s resistant to space and time abilities, as noted as a Passive Ability in his powers/abilities section. He’s strong against light, but attacking a light-user will always cause recoil damage no matter what. Attacking the hands limits his space abilities, but attacking the feet/boots has a 1/4 chance to disable the gun and blade functions of them, or cause them to backfire/misfire(Roll 4 for no effect, 3 for disabling for 2 posts, 2 for misfire, or 1 for backfire(minor recoil damage)). He can always use Big Break, but at 0 energy it acts as a way to regain energy(You can’t lose negative energy, after all) but also rounds the chances down to a D40, with anything 21 and below being Critical Fail.
This is an entirely new character, he’s somewhat intentionally designed to be a rival to Prince Xaoc Lorde. The original concept of the character was to be an antihero/villain reimagining of Pyro G1, in a sort-of self-aware situation that G1 was retconned, and where did Pyro G1 go after that? It was said he was sent to Feign with his base, trapped there in a sort of void, becoming a sort of “Master of Feign”, trading in his fire abilities for additional space(and planned TIME(lolnope)) abilities. However, when Madame Macabre’s did a song about a character named Ticci Toby, I changed the character into the form he is now. His weapons were inspired by RWBY, Blake’s guns and Mercury’s shoes. I purposely threw practicality out of the window for the sake of awesome-looking weapons in this fictional world, drawing concepts of him cutting bullets in half with the blades from his shoes.
His battle theme is DAGames’ “I WILL NOT BE MOVED”, and his normal theme is Vocacircus’s “Karma”.

Woah...this is one cool charrie you've got there ^w^
I admit I didn't understand everything there but I mean, you probably wouldn't either if I went into depth about things I made.
And I want those boots, they're pretty darned cool .3.

Ah, thanks! I worked on him for just a bit more than a month, and I wanted to make sure he was finished before I put him online.
Considering the whole "a person that doesn't exist" thing, and the space powers, I can understand some people may not understand what I was talking about, though I tried my best. If you got any questions, please ask.
The boots were specifically designed to be unpractical for real-life use, but to be awesome looking in concept. Even a friend, who suppots alot of what I do, questioned the logic for the shoes, like "These don't look like they'd work", pretty much(he's the one who suggested his cance be "breakdancing", though more or less, I incorporated it into his fighting style. Head spinning and freezes for days)
Is the Realm currently active, as in, do you know if people are on it?

No, I have no questions really.
Whatever, who cares if the boots wouldn't actually work in real life, they're cool
And yes the realm is open I am actually checking right now if anyone is on it I'm so lonely ;w;
Come please ;w;

Nah, if anything, I was late. You were already there when I got online, finally.
