Usually I hate joining trends and such (especially really popular ones) but I thought it would be kinda fun...and it really was a ton of fun!!
I've never really done something like this.. all pixelly and time-consuming that takes up a whole day like it did...
But all in all, I'm pretty happy with it :B

I only did my ID as a joke to try to make everyone see how ridiculous they were. It didn't work. They thought I was all serious and creative and WTF I GAVE MYSELF THE GODAMN AUTOBOTS.

I had another idea (last night) for a joke one I could do...based on a conversation I had with myself in bed this morning :0 (lol)

oh, I scanned a sketch, then put it in photoshop and had my jollies 8D
BUT MSPaint works just as fine and dandy!! What you do is (1)scan a sketch (if you work from a sketch like I did.. I found it helps) *(2) make the sketch as small/big as your pixel is going to be (make sure it can fit in the 441x670 'guideline' thingy.. (3)Pixel right over the top of the sketch. When you're done you'll have to 'chisel' away the pixel from the sketch (since it's Paint and there are no layers), but it's as easy as that! 8D
...though this doesn't quite portray the hours factor... so I'll say this: it does take a while though :B
*I usually just crtl+w and shrink it to like.. 70% or 50% or 40% of its former glory or whatever depending on how big the sketch was to begin with

Aha, yeah, I always think I have time when really I have tonns of things I should actually be doing! Like work for college >__>;;
I'm a bit of a noob to photoshop too, so I'm not to sure how to layer it all the right way and bla bla... o__o;; I've been using just traditional pencil for ages. Nyar, sorry to rant XD

Photoshop&layers in general aren't so hard to figure out (it's all that other unnecessary garbage. lol!!)
I only used two layers to do the pixel (one for the sketch and the top layer for the actual pixel work. When I had basically what I wanted, I deleted the sketch, saved it as a png and opened it in MSPaint. From there I finished the pixel in Paint..
If you decide to try it out and you need help I'd be more happy to try to help you out! ^^ (I got time right? haha)

You should! It takes forever @_@; but it's a lot of fun to just sit down and do one. I guess you'd have to do it when you've got nothing but time on your hands (like I seem to always lead myself to believe I have XD;; haha)
