Description
1. I love to travel and I do it fairly often...even though I get planesick2. I write a lot (but only show ~NaiadSees )
3. I microwave my cereal (I like Cornflakes, Rice Krispies and Apple Jacks)
4. I want to learn several different languages! I think it's useful/important to be able to speak more than just one language...And I'd like to be more politically, socially and economically informed the flags are directly connected to me somehow~
5. I can sleep for 24 hours straight...or stay awake for 24 hours straight
6. For about the first decade of my life I didn't know how to spell my middle name 'cause my parents spell it differently...now I spell it with an "I" like my mum 'cause that's what all my documents say! (passports, school records, etc.)
7. I'm missing one of my bottom row teeth and I've had two top row canines ripped out after having five needles of totally ineffective 'Novocaine' ('cause my body rejects anaesthesia)
I probably picked the most boring stuff about me @_@;; I can't think of stuff when I'm asked to I guess XD;; haha
In any case, this was super fun! I had 7 different facts actually... but I think everyone already knows that I'm terrified of bums/vagabonds/hobos and that I find shopping boring...and that I'm non-athletic, I can't do a cartwheel or ride a bike XD;; SO! HERE'S SOME OTHER STUFF....but then I think a lot of people already know I microwave my cereal and stuff... BAH! whatever! XD haha

Ok cool, this looks like a lot of fun! I really love the little poses and stuff! I speak 3 different languages, too! I used to speak 4! I can speak English and German fluently. I can read and speak and comprehend in both, but for some reason I can't write in German. It's a long story. But the summary is that German was my first language but I only learned to speak it because I went to school in Canada, and then I learned to read in German by phonetically pronounce each word--which is the weirdest feeling in the world to look at a page of gibberish and sound it out and it MAKES SENSE TO YOU @_@;
anywayd then I learned French in grade school, plus I have family in France which I go visit. Now I can only understand and read French though, and barely speak it. Definately can't write it. I'm sure my grammar is ass, too. But I count it because I'm sure if I was thrown into a french speaking country it would be only a few weeks before it would come back if no one would speak english or german to me.

haha yea I got that, too. Except in France. I actually find French people to be very arrogant and rude ;_; which is so terrible because of the stereotype and all!

lol; really!? That's so odd, because people keep saying that sort of thing and I found them friendly! (except this one rude lady..though I was in the wrong >o>; and some grumpy old man) Makes me wonder if I was so happy to be there I was just oblivious to the rudeness or what XD;;
I'm told people get a lot friendlier the more into the country you get, but I've only really been in Paris (which people say is worse for rudeness 'cause city people tend to be relatively quite grumpy) :B

I think that's SO cool!!
English is my first language and, I mighta said before, I'm studying French. Last year though I did an intro to Haitian Creole and I'm doing the second part to it this comin' semester (I like it a lot), but I've always wanted to learn German too!! X3 (~NaiadSees kinda got me to like it)..
I find that when I'm learning a new language, I tend to be much stronger with writing & reading.. I can see my mistakes and correct them or take time to break down/analyse words and stuffIf I'm speaking/listening it's like.. well it's just harder to get my mind in order.
I imagine being stronger with speaking & listening would be better (esp. for conversational reasons obviously) than being stronger with writing & reading. I'd think you can learn reading & writing as an afterthought easier than speaking and listening as the afterthought... but then some aspects of grammar can best be learned different ways I guess @_@;
I find that, with speaking/listening especially, I need to constantly practice or I have to work through a slight regression.. but once I'm in 'the zone' I'm fine XD;
LOL the whole idea of sounding it out to understand is SO FREAKISHLY cool! XD hahaha
I love France soo much! but I've only been twice ;o; (I'm trying to save up for another trip there soon). Don't you find that if people know you speak English they tend to speak to you in English? So they get their 'other language practice' in and you don't :0 (lol! that's what I found happened a lot)

Yeah, I really like it. I'm doing the second half of an introductory course this semester (It helps that I'm studying French)
When studying languages though, I tend to be stronger in reading and writing and not as strong in speaking and listening!! @_@;;; You're lucky you have your parents to speak it around you!!

Reading and writing in different languages is suprisingly much easier. And I'm not lucky having them speaking around me...they are loud and it gets annoying because they repeat what they say...>>;;;

I agree; but some people (a friend who's studying with me) are better at the listening/speaking part of it.. well, she's not very good at grammar though.. hmm...

my dad knows some Welsh and Hungarian, but he never speaks them around me so I don't know anything from either of them!! @_@; (but then he has no one to speak it with, 'cause my mum doesn't know those languages XD;; I think she knows some Spanish though)

nyooo (I hate mushy cereal too).
I used to use evaporated milk and water, but that way's more complicated, so now I use whole milk. With whole milk what you do is put the cereal + sugar in the bowl, then put the milk in last and shove it in the microwave for about a minute and a half, then take it out and eat it. It won't be soggy, it'll be delicious <3

my favourite cereals are Cornflakes, Rice Krispies and Apple Jacks (used to like Fruit Loops a lot when I was younger) so I know it definitely tastes good with those though! ;D
