Nice photo... The scene is serene and calm. I love the composition and the reflection. I would have preferred a deeper blue sky though. Outher that the color tones are good and the contrast is very well done. Nice piece of work

deeper sky would have been great. is there a way i could have achieved that? i self taught myself everything i know... so any tips and hints would be greatly appreciated

You could try to select the sky with the lasso or magic tool in PC... The tones can be made more vivid by playing with curves, contrast and saturation. Good luck

its great to capture shots like these, but they are always so hard to balance out between the sky and the water. In the interest of advanced critiques.... might I suggest a small investment in a graduated neutral density filter? They really help in situations like this

Man, you have that right down the street? All I have is a farm... and construction... another farm... and if you go for a turn you get to Walmart or out of town with you're two other options.
