Such sadness cannot be comprehended

Yet we all live on afterwards right?
To sit under the sun and moon, together, such a thing is meant to warm the heart
While we share what will be our memories
And then someday we can come back here, under the same sky where we made love, gentle and pure

Such times were full of fun and excitement, right?
I had fun, it was worth it, if only to see the smile on your face
I still remember that smile, as I gaze up at the sun-stroked sky
With reds and oranges still in full bloom
