This is my life though.
My one chance to do something right.
So I chose you. Was that a mistake?
Is it a mistake to be happy and loved and accepted for who you are.
You were a girl. So was I.
But this is a mistake to everyone else.
Just because we both happen to be women..
Why?

Is it because of God?
What if God were a woman. And what if she had a lover. Who was also female?
Do you ever think about that?
It's been so decided upon that God is male.
What if God wore a dress and high heels?

What happens if we switch the roles?
What if girls were boys and they all wore suits and looked so handsome.
What if boys were all wearing beautiful dresses with pink and red roses.
Why is that wrong?
Who said it was wrong? Or did we all just decide one day to fuck it all.

Burn the bible to the ground and just screw it all..
God isn't in the pages. He's in the soul. Isn't that right?

Why is it that we're stained and blood tainted because of who we really are?
Surely, a god who loves everyone as they are, wouldn't want anyone to die..
Surely, that's the bitter answer that you can't swallow..

We are innocent at birth.
But are tainted by forced belief, instead of searching for one of our own..
