nothing rises but the tension.

life is hard. hell at times.
if there is such a place where I can plant my fallen, painted face

So then why try?
Why get up?
It would be much easier to sleep.
Get rid of your emotions.
Empty cans for you to play with.

I knew you were hurting.
We both were.
Time tends to do that to us, after all.

Sinned a thousand times before...
Don't bring me to life just to put me to death again, with your words.

They hurt, you know.
Like glass.
Little shards of dust implanted in my hollow bones
My naked frame, left beneath the shelves for you to watch.
