the wrote the world on her wrists.
small, broken hearts floating towards the abyss.
little scratch marks on her skin you see
but you've no idea how painful the world is that she sees.

she's been beaten, broken scattered and scarred.
but nothing could heal her broken little heart.
we saw it, we wanted just to help her.
but we didn't know how, and alone then she would suffer.

we are worlds without consequence.
lies without fear.
learning to love in a world full of pain.
fear. agony. regret. still we pull the blade to skin.
hoping to release the evil that lies within.

cross my heart, hope to die.
I'm not there yet, so I lie
in my room, blackened out.
pierce a little deeper, I hear my heart cry out.

with tears that I've washed away before.
I hear death knocking now at my door.
one more little pill doctor. I promise it won't hurt.
not nearly as much as my face between the dirt.

a mockery. blasphemer. devil. disease.
still she wishes, and still she begs.
not to live, not to breathe.
just put my ashes in the bag.

the life you wanted me to live. the life I couldn't fit into.
silly, little fucked up dreams.
she was quiet, you know the type.
wearing sweaters, even when it's hot as hell outside.
dark coloured hair, and black make-up too.
she wanted to tell you, she wanted to pull through..

but she couldn't..
you wouldn't let her..
and so she died. pulled a gun out, then a knife.
piercing her skin one more time.
hoping this time, she'd make it out alive..

but she didn't.
and her corpse is on the floor.
she's still holding the gun, screaming..
