Description A Quarganthox is an otherworldly aberration that has made its way into our world from the endless, lightless abyss simply known to us as the dark warp. The creature is so bizarre and complex, that not even the gods knew why it was created. The name "Quarganox" was given to the species of xenos when a tablet made out of a unidentifiable material was discovered near a meteor that crashed and landed in the ocean. The tablet had a carving of the creature with runes around it spelling out "Quarganox" (the translation was done via magical methods). They only come into this world when they need to feed by teleporting to the closest planet that fas their food source, but sorcerers can summon them into this realm themselves, but they'll find that this eldritch monster is challenging to control. Quarganthoxes usually come out of rogue worm holes, where there are other monsters from the depths in the great beyond, like a hound of tindalos, dark warp scorpion or some other xeno aberration.

The quarganthox feeds on electricity and light by drawing it into the large crystal on top of the aberration. This gives the quarganthox immunity to electricity and radiant damage, nullifying most clerics and electromancers.
A quarganthox is able to move around on it's tentacles but they would prefer to stay above the ground with their natural ability to hover. When the quarganthox needs to over distance quickly, they can use their innate ability to teleport themselves to a non-occupied space within a 100 ft radius. Their teleportation ability can allow it to travel to other planets but it tires out the quarganthox and they require feeding and a 20 day cooldown until they can teleport again. Sometimes, a colony of quarganthoxes may choose to reside in the planet that has their food source.
They are able to fire a continuous light purple beam of plasma that can melt through almost any forcefield and will leave you weakened. It also attacks by firing eldritch thunderbolts and can extend it's purple tentacles to lash out at melee range, causing acid and psychic damage.
The quarganthox has a constant charge of electricity coursing through it's alien veins and tissue, which amplifies when it feeds but weakens when starved or when lightning bolts are fired. The electric charge electrocutes melee attackers, so put away the warhammer.

It's best to avoid combat, but only attack if there's no choice. Unless your melee weapon isn't conductive, stick to ranged weapons and magic. Their weird and complex immunity system blocks out any poison, disease and necrotic damage but they aren't immune to bleeding, so use anything that can cut up the alien from a distance.
Since quarganthoxes fight alongside other creatures, make sure any other monsters acting a support go down. Then, target the quarganthox and move on to the other attackers.
