Description
Revenants are spirits that had so much malice and vengeance against a person in life and their grudges were strong enough to turn their spirit into a revenant. Revenants linger in the mortal plane until their malice burns out and they either pass on or their negativity grows to the point that the energy collapses on the revenant, transforming hate-filled spirit into a wraith.

Revenants posses all the combat skills and weapons they had upon their death. They are engulfed in a flame of malice that manifested from their rage. Their weapons inflict infernal wounds and the spells they could use in life have been corrupted with their own malice, causing spells like ‘Magic missile’ or ‘Eldritch blast’ to become engulfed in unholy hatred, changing whatever type of damage it originally inflicted into unholy damage. Their attacks are more harmful against the ones that they grudge upon and their vengeful glare can paralyse their victims with fear.

Unlike other incorporeal undead, it is resistant against radiant damage. It is also resistant to fire and explosive damage, so put away the fireballs. Revenants do fight with strategy, but they are easily angered, which gives an opening for you to overpower the revenant.
