101 Questions You Should Be Able to Answer About Your Character

This is done as my only (for now) OC, Py!

1. What is your full name? Do you have a nickname?

My full name is Pyridian Jace Akron, but few know that, and those who do just call me Py. Nice to meet you!

2. How old are you? When is your birthday?

Well, this is kind of a difficult question with a somewhat complicated answer for an immortal like me who can travel to different worlds and dimensions where both time and annual cycles often run differently, but basically I've been alive for over 1,200 earth years. I don't actually know when I was born as most of my memory from before I became what I am now is practically nonexistent.

3. Where were you born? Where do you live now? Are you patriotic?

I was born in a village in the overworld of a dimension group of similar dimensions that the popular game Minecraft is based off of. At the time when I became immortal, my world was under attack by a fierce wither monster, and when I was finally able to return after I was displaced to the End, I found my entire world in ruin. I base my home there still though, but I do travel to other worlds, and there's no nation there to be patriotic of anymore, so I guess that last question is kind of a moot point.

4. Who are/were your parents? (Names, occupations, personalities, etc.)

I don't really remember my parents very much at all, but I do know my dad was a blacksmith. From what I do remember though, they were very kind individuals, and I believe they had a significant influence on my personality.

5. Do you have any siblings? What are/were they like?

I was an only child.

6. What is your occupation?

I don't really have an occupation. I've lived long enough and gathered enough wealth to be able to completely be able to take care of myself without such a thing. I guess you could say I'm kind of an adventurer, because I definitely do that a lot. I also try to do my best to guard people and nations that I come across from calamities that they have no control over, but I don't really think that there's really a title for that.

7. How tall are you? How much do you weigh?

In my human form I am about five feet, ten inches, and my height and shape can be changed in my blaze form much like many slime people and creatures, but in either form I weigh about 200 pounds.

8. What color is your hair? What color are your eyes?

My hair is a chestnut brown and my eyes are a vibrant lavender in my human form. In my other, fire replaces my hair and my eyes turn a deep red.

9. What is your race?

I am an immortal hybrid of human, blaze, and nether portal. As far as I know, I am the only such being and I'm not so conceited as to make a name for my... unique race.

10. To which social class do you belong?

I don't believe that this question actually applies to me to be honest.

11. Do you consider yourself to be attractive? Do others?

I guess. I mean, I don't really think too much about that to be honest. Others have found me attractive for sure. *chuckles* My most beautiful Jasmine just can't get over me though, that's for sure!

12. What is your style of dress?

Usually casual. I usually tend to wear clothes that I make that are able to withstand my heat when I blaze, and my favorite ones are a light grey hoodie, charcoal grey jeans, and black shoes. I do tend to dress in the fashion of the world's that I visit when it's prudent to do so though, but I prefer shades of grey or black.

13. Do you have any scars? Tattoos? Birthmarks? Other unique physical features?

I have no scars or birthmarks. I do however have tattoos, which are the physical manifestations of the nether portal that is part of me. In my human form, they are black and populate my chest, back, arms and hands. They are thick black lines that start from each of my fingers, and go up where they join at the wrists to coil up my arms. They split at my shoulders and go to my chest and back where they form a spiral pattern. When I blaze, they turn the glowing purple that nether portals are known for. They also hover about a quarter of an inch above my skin in that form, and the coil on my back can unwind and expand into a pair of wings that allow me to fly.

14. Do you have any allergies, diseases, or other physical weaknesses?

I don't have allergies or diseases, but my human form is vulnerable to harm, and extreme cold drains my energy when I am in blaze form. I do have a very large amount of energy and power, but I still try to be careful as it is a weakness.

15. Are you right- or left-handed?

I can use both hands well, but I do favor my right.

16. What does your voice sound like?

Oh man, I really don't know how to describe my voice. Kinda average for a 23 year old human male I guess? When I blaze though, it goes pretty deep and powerful.

17. What kind of vocabulary do you use?

My spoken vocabulary is usually pretty average, but I do have a very large vocabulary and use it when the occasion calls for it.

18. List three quirks or other defining characteristics.

Hmm... Let's see. I tend to be a little ADD when I'm excited about something, I can spend hours unlocking the secrets of a magic book, whether it be magical theory, spells, or whatever else it is, and lastly, my memory can tend to be a little spotty when it comes to personal information and stuff.

19. How often do you bathe? Do you wear perfumes?

I clean myself about once every other day unless I get dirty. And no, I don't wear perfume or cologne or any such scent augmenting things.

20. What kind of facial expression do you commonly wear (dour glare, wry smile, etc)?

I usually tend to smile, whether it be a mischievous smirk or a warm smile.

21. Do you use body language? How?

Well, almost everyone uses body language to some extent, and in that regard I believe I'm fairly average. I use my hands sometimes when I speak.

22. Do you have a commonly used saying?

No, I don't believe I do, but that

Childhood

23. What is your earliest memory?

Hmm... This one's kinda difficult. I think the earliest memory I have is when my dad made me my first knife. To my eternal sorrow, I lost it when I underwent my transformation.

24. How much schooling have you had? Did you enjoy it?

Well, I never went to a school when I was human because our village didn't have one, but since then I've attended many different schools to learn many different things and enjoyed it all until I reached the point where they couldn't teach me much more of what I wanted.

25. Where did you learn most of your knowledge and skill?

There is no one place that I learned most of my knowledge. I've been student to many masters in the arts of magic and combat in my life, and I've also learned much from reading various books.

26. How would you describe your childhood in general?

Happy, I guess. Like I said, I don't really remember much from when I was human.

27. As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?

I remember wanting to be a blacksmith like my dad. I learned some of that from him, and I've learned more since my change, but I've since vowed to be kind of a guardian "angel" to others, and while black smithing is useful for making weapons, it's not exactly paramount to protecting others.

28. When and with whom was your first kiss?

Actually, I was never really interested in romance and such things until I met Jasmine. Somehow she completely blew that door wide open, and I am glad to be able to say that she was the first one I've ever kissed romantically.

29. Are you a virgin? If not, when and with whom did you lose your virginity?

Ha! Definitely not now. Jasmine is part succubus, so I hope I don't have to explain to you why we got it on together when our relationship grew. Actually, it really happened quite quickly. We just really seem to have been made perfectly for each other, though I know neither pyroxyz nor PastaUnit01 purposely did that. But yeah, we just clicked and fell for each other very quickly. So after that we pretty much just did what came naturally to us.

30. Do you have a notorious or celebrated ancestor? Does that affect you?

Nope. No ancestors to speak of as far as I know, and certainly no one else knows either.

Influences

31. What do you consider the most important event of your life so far?

I would have to say it was meeting Jasmine. I feel like she's changed me in many ways, and falling for her was definitely the most joyous and exciting event in my life, and I can't really see anything topping it.

32. What do you consider your greatest achievement?

I really can't say. I've done so many things in my life. I've taught heroes, played a part in saving entire races from destruction... I can't really say that any one great thing that I've done was better than all the rest.

33. What is your greatest regret?

Not being able to save my village and world from the wither is definitely my biggest regret. I don't regret becoming what I am, but I wish I had been able to learn to control my new powers quickly enough to destroy the monster before it had its way with my home.

34. What is the most embarrassing or shameful thing ever to happen to you?

35. Do you have any secrets? If so, what are they?

I have many secrets. Live as long as I do, you'll find many things that you want or need to keep from others. My most notable secret? I don't mind telling others how I became what I am, but the why has been a pretty sore subject for me for almost all my life until I opened up to Jazz.

36. What is the most evil thing you have ever done?

Well, when I was a younger and less experienced hybrid, I would try to protect others too quickly and often times I would let my darkness out to completely destroy the evils I saw. Sometimes they weren't so evil though. Those mistakes haunted me for a long time before I was able to accept my mistakes and move past them.

37. When was the time you were the most frightened?

Definitely during the time my world was under attack and immediately after I crossed through that portal.

38. Have you ever traveled outside of your country? If so, to where?

Ha! Country!? Hell, I've traveled to so many other entirely different worlds and dimensions it boggles the mind. This question. *chuckles*

Beliefs

39. What is your alignment?

As in character alignment? Pyro says I'm borderline good and chaotic good, though leaning more towards good.

40. Are you basically optimistic or pessimistic?

Optimistic. I try to see good in people and events as much as I can and maintain a positive outlook.

41. Do you believe in a god? If so, which one and why?

Well, different worlds do have different gods. I've actually personally met some, so I guess it goes beyond simple belief to simple fact.

42. Do you believe in an afterlife?

Again, different worlds and different dimensions have different rules, so it depends on where you originate from. I don't know whether I have a future past the point of my death, if that ever comes, but I think if I don't that that would be fine, but I do like to think that some part of me would carry on.

43. What is your greatest fear?

My greatest fear is that someday I might lose Jasmine. I just can't stand that thought. Experiencing this short part of my life with her, I can't imagine going on without her.

44. What makes you angry? Sad? Happy? Why?

It makes me extremely angry when people don't value the lives of others. I've seen how one life can affect so many others in so many ways, and how important they all are that I just can't stand it when others take it lightly. That doesn't mean that I'm against ending someone if it's necessary, but still. Seeing the friends I've made die and other people's suffering definitely tends to make me sad. Things that make me happy? Well, there're a lot of things. Among them are Jasmine, adventuring, and helping others. You know what makes me ecstatic? Combining those.

45. Do you think people are basically good or basically evil?

Oh man. That's a good question. But again, I have to go back to the point that it depends on where in the multiverse you are. I've been to places where people are definitely evil by nature, and others where the opposite is true.

46. What are your views on politics? Religion? Sex?

I have no place answering the first two questions because of the fairly transient being that I am. I don't have a whole lot of personal experience in the third point, but from what I've seen and what I feel, I believe that sex isn't really a thing to be taken lightly. It's a pairing of two people that goes beyond the physical realm.

47. What are your views on gambling, lying, theft, and killing?

The first can be fun if done properly and with responsibility. The other three are sometimes unfortunately necessary.

Money is a tool. I enjoy being able to do things with it, but it's not a gigantic thing to me.

50. In your opinion, what is the most evil thing any human being could do?

Killing others in cold blood is in my opinion the height of villainy.

Absolutely.

Ha! How could I not after meeting Jasmine?

Nope.

54. How much do you respect the beliefs and opinions of others?

I respect others beliefs and opinions very much unless those cause harm to others.

55. How honest are you about your thoughts and feelings?

I'm usually pretty honest.

56. Do you have any biases or prejudices?

I don't believe so. I try to keep an open mind about people as much as I can.

Dealing With Others

57. Who is the most important person in your life, and why?

Please. I really don't want to start sounding like a broken record here, so do your best to figure this one out.

58. Who is the person you respect the most? Despise the most? Why?

The person that I respect the most is my first mentor after my change, the one who helped me gain control of my powers. His name is Malphaeus, and he's a sentient ender dragon who's been alive for much longer than I have and is definitely much wiser than I. As for the person I despise the most? Anyone who tries to hurt my Jazz. Try it and find out just how deep that'll go.

59. Do you have a significant other? Who?

Again. Broken record. Not gonna happen.

60. Do you have a lot of friends? Who is your best friend?

I haven't really had many friends for a couple hundred years now.

61. How do you relate to members of the same race? Class? Sex?

Don't exist, and doesn't apply. As for the same sex, I suppose I relate to them the same most other heterosexual males do.

Yes definitely. And that's a story for another time.

I've never considered this since my change, but I think Jasmine pretty much sums up what I would have looked for.

I don't have a family anymore.

Yes I do, to all of those. Being with Jasmine so far has really opened my eyes to that, and I really do want it.

67. Do you tend to argue with people, or avoid conflict?

Well, that kind of depends on my mood but I do usually tend to avoid conflict.

68. Are you a listener or a talker?

I can definitely talk a lot, but I also know the value of listening to others.

69. How long does it usually take for you to trust others?

Usually not very long unless they give me a reason to mistrust them.

70. Do you hold grudges?

Not really.

71. Do you tend to take on leadership roles in social situations?

It depends on the situation, but that tends to be the role that I end up taking.

72. Do you like interacting with large groups of people?

It can be fun, but I do prefer smaller groups of people.

Pretty well I guess? I don't know exactly what this question is asking.

74. How quickly do you judge others?

Not very quickly. I've lived long enough to know that you definitely can't judge a book by its cover.

75. Do you care what others think of you?

The only person that I really care about this for is Jasmine.

76. Do you have any enemies? How or why are they your enemy?

I do have enemies. Some don't like me because I'm powerful, others don't like that I try to protect others, and others still don't like it when I've protected others from them.

Personal Taste and Opinions

77. What is your favorite pastime? Color? Food? Possession?

Well, I love reading and leaning, but I don't know if that can necessarily be considered a pastime. My favorite color is red, and I don't really need food so much because I can draw energy from heat such as fire or lava. But my favorite food though is pizza. Hamburger and mushrooms. My favorite possessions are my kukris. They're forged, yes forged, out of obsidian. Believe me when I say that that was a difficult task. Lots of magic and surprisingly little heat.

78. What are your preferences in arts and/or entertainment?

I love music. I share pretty much the same tastes as Pyro.

79. Do you smoke, drink, go whoring, or use drugs? Why or why not?.

I do drink occasionally. That can be pretty fun with the right people. The other ones not so much. As in not at all.

80. How do you spend a typical Saturday night?

Depends. Sometimes I'll lay out under the stars and watch them, sometimes I'll read a book beside a fire. Recently though, I've been engaging in a lot of bed sports. *winks*

81. What is your most cherished fantasy?

Um... I really haven't had one until I met Jasmine. Now I really want to have a family for once in my immortal life. We'll see how that goes.

82. How long is your attention span?

Depends on whether I'm excited about something or not, and how much excitement I'm experiencing. Usually it's pretty good though.

83. Do you laugh a lot? What do you find funny?

I do tend to laugh a lot! A lot of things can make me laugh to be honest.

84. Is there anything that shocks or offends you? If so, what?

There's really not much that shocks or offends me anymore.

85. How do you deal with stress?

I usually deal with stress by removing myself from the stressful situation if I can and sitting down to read a good fictional book. ... What, you thought I only liked reading to learn?

86. How much athletic ability do you have? Artistic?

I am very athletic. I can do a lot of things that most people can't, especially when it comes to combat. If you count the art of magic, then yes I'm very artistic.

87. Do you like animals? Do you like children?

Depends on the animal. I love feline creatures. Yes, I love children.

88. Are you spontaneous, or do you always need to have a plan?

That depends on the situation. I usually tend to be pretty spontaneous unless the situation calls for some sort of plan.

Well, I really don't like having to deal with particularly unintelligent people...

Self-Image

90. What is your greatest strength as a person? Weakness?

I think my greatest strength as a person is my kindness. It really allows me to be able to help people when they need it. My greatest weakness would probably have to be my urge to help others, as strange as that may sound. Sometimes the urge is strong enough to where I don't think through my actions well enough and it ends up harming the person or people I'm trying to help more than it helps them.

91. If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?

92. Are you generally introverted or extroverted?

I'm fairly extroverted.

93. Do you like yourself?

I can tolerate myself. Just kidding. Yeah, I do. I mean, I'm not narcissistic at all, but I think I have a healthy amount of self esteem.

94. Do you have a daily routine? How do you feel if your day is interrupted?

I don't really have a daily routine. Remember that spontaneity?

95. What goal do you most want to accomplish in the next six months? Your lifetime?

Six months? Puh-lease. Actually, to be honest, I don't really have any goals necessarily anymore. I just want to live my life having fun and helping others where I can.

96. Where do you see yourself in 5 years? 10 years? 20 years?

Pfft! Please. Five years? Freaking blink of an eye for me. Just kidding. I honestly have no clue with this one. I mean, I hope that Jasmine and I can raise a family together somewhere along the line. I don't know if that'll actually work though. Hopefully.

97. If you could choose, how would you want to die?

I would want to die fighting side by side with Jasmine to save someone. I don't want either of us to have to live without the other.

98. What is the one thing you would like to be remembered for after your death?

Well, I'm sure I'll be remembered by many people in many worlds. Probably as a legend though.

99. What three words would you use to best describe your personality?

Intelligent, kind and mischievous. Let's be honest, I can be pretty sarcastic at times if I feel like it, and I do love a good prank here and there.
