Wow, this has really come out great so far! This is one of the things that I'm going to be making for my little business/hobby! This one has so far taken me around four hours. I hand made the bail (the loop that you thread the necklace through) out of 14 guage square sterling silver wire, and that's definitely the part that I'm most proud of so far. As you can see, the solder work is a little messy, but I got some desoldering braid to help clean that up a lot, and that area will hopefully end up looking much better! I really like the partially tarnished look around the details and letters, but I don't think that it's gonna stay like that for long unfortunately. I don't know if it's the fire stain from the flux or just the heat or leftover wax from the buffing compound, and depending on which of those it is, that may or may not be a feature that'll stay. Anywho, this is somewhat far from being done, but I'm really impressed at how it's come out so far considering that this is the first one of its kind that I've made.
