Hey everyone! Pyro here! I would like to announce that I am going to begin making coin rings since I can't draw for crap and it takes a special mood for writing. Anywho, I will be selling them. For now since I'm still learning, I will be selling them for less than when I eventually gain my confidence and start making really good pieces. I will be making two types of rings: a hammered type in which the edge writing is on the inside of the ring, and a folded type where much of the original type and design is preserved on both sides of the ring. I have already made three of the hammer variety, one of which is not for sale. As of now I do not know the sizes of the rings as the tools I ordered to begin making the folded variety have not yet arrived. I will make rings to order, you can request a type of coin that I make the ring from, but I will currently not do silver or gold coins as those are more difficult. I'll do state quarters or try to find a quarter in a specific year (quarters from before 1964 tend to be silver, so for now I won't be doing any that are older than that.) Currently, you may order a hammer type ring for $25.00 + the cost of shipping and the cut that dA takes from it [20 points out of every 80, so $1 = 100 points] (this price may change). Once I begin making the folded type I will figure out a suitable price. Again, currently prices will be lower since I am still learning the craft and the pieces will more than likely have some flaws, but those will go away in time.
To order a ring, please note me and let me know what you want. I will upload a photo of the coin that I will use with a premium download fee, and you can then pay for the download and I will begin working on your ring. Your ring should be finished within five days depending on how busy with other things I am, and I will then ship it to your address or post office box, whichever you prefer.
When you note me please include the proper size of the ring you want. I would suggest having your finger sized by a jeweler, but you may do it yourself.
Here are some pictures of the rings I've done so far:
These are currently for sale:
This ring is not for sale:
One final thing I would like to say is that I'm going to try to use this as a way to supplement my income since money's kinda tight for me at the moment. So yeah, any purchases you make or recommendations to others are definitely greatly appreciated!

Oh, the one that isn't for sale is pretty sweet! You should make more of those. And good luck!

It's lots of fun! I mean, I can barely buy the supplies to do this stuff! I just really hope I can get a good return on my investment!

Not even the whisper of a cent has graced my bank account as of yet unfortunately. To be honest tho, I really have nothing to sell at the moment, at least nothing that is absolutely ready.

This is a cool idea. My little brother made me one out of a quarter from the year I was born. I hope this works out for you. I know what it's like being tight on cash.
