I had purchased some tomahawks a while ago, and the handle wrap they had was falling apart, so I got some hockey cloth tape and re-wrapped them (a total of three.) It's really easy to do, just take a longish piece of tape and twist it so the adhesive is on the outside, then wrap it around the handle, leaving spaces where your fingers would go, trimming any excess, then take the tape and just wrap around that and voilà!! You have wrapped a handle! I actually learned this technique when I played hockey, and it's definitely not limited to only tomahawks and hockey sticks. There's dirt on the handle because I was testing the wrap throwing them outside at my large throwing target. And it was a little muddy.
