Practice Session
Way up in the clouds so high
Looping around with a multi-colored tail
Warm breezes blow in impossibly blue sky
As she dives at speeds others surely would fail
Speed, such a spectacular, wonderful thing
Driving through the wind with power and skill
She feels so amazing, being here on the wing
And 20% cooler by power of will
A beautiful train of reds and blues
Purple, yellow, orange and green
A colorful array of all hues
Follow behind this skyward queen
With a loop and a whirl, such daring tricks
She will impress the Wonderbolts, someday, somehow
With anticipation for that day her tail involuntarily flicks
As she gracefully, softly lands on a cloud
Now her practice is over, the warm noon sun has come
Lying down, she gently closes her eyes
Afternoon napping, to the world she is now numb
Off to dream the dreams, dreams of entering the bolt's lives
