The next morning, Blaze woke up to the sound of the phone ringing.

"Sonic, could you get that?" Blaze asked half asleep, but didn't get an answer. "Sonic?" Still nothing. Blaze opened her eyes to find Sonic gone. Blaze quickly got up, put on a robe, and went downstairs. Still she found no sign on her husband. She picked up the phone
and answered. "Hello?"

"Blaze! Shadow is missing!" Amy's voice yelled on the phone.

"What?!" Blaze Asked Shocked

"Shadow wasn't in bed when I woke up. I search all around the house but couldn't him."

"Wait! Sonic wasn't in bed either."

"We should get the others together before anything happens to you."

"Good idea. I'll call Rouge while you call Shade."

"Got it," Amy hung up.

Blaze hung up then quickly dialed Rouge's number. She waited impatiently until someone answered. "Hello?"

"Rouge?"

"Speaking."

"Rouge, Amy just called and said Shadow was missing"

"What?"

"And Sonic wasn't in bed either. I think they're going to go through with Sonic's plan!"

"Okay just calm down and we'll all meet at the forest north of town because right now your houses aren't safe."

"Got it." Blaze hung up and thought to herself. "Sonic what are you thinking?"

In an unknown location. Curtain people were standing in a circle.

"Looks like Blaze knew about your plan and getting the others together." Shadow said to his blue friend.

"It doesn't matter. Everything is already prepared so why not just go through with it." Sonic shrugged.

"Shadow, Knuckles, Silver. You know what must be done" Eggman said. The three nodded then left.

Blaze was the first to arrive to the forest wearing her normal purple dress. Then came the others in their normal clothes too.

The girls met up and thought it would be best to stick together. They then would try to find Sonic and straighten this whole mess out.

They walk cautiously in case something happened. Blaze lead followed by Rouge, Shade, and then Amy. Suddenly a pair of hands came out of nowhere and grabbed Amy. One over her mouth so she couldn't scream and the other around her waist. Amy quickly turned to face her attacker, but before she could do or said anything, a green light flash in front of her.

The group stopped when they heard something. "What was that?" Rouge quickly asked

"I don't know." Blaze answered.

"Hey where's Amy?" Shade asked as she noticed the pink hedgehog was missing.

"They must have got Amy!" Blaze yelled.

"Okay girls calm down we need to keep a leveled head." Rouge said. "If they did get Amy then they know we're here so we need to be at full alert. As long as we do that nothing can surprise us, right?"

Blaze and Shade nodded. Suddenly a grenade fell in front of them with the words 'SURPRISE!' written on it. As it went of the girls quickly ran away from it, but in different directions.

Rouge ran a good while until she realized she was alone. She knew she wasn't completely alone because she could feel someone watching her. She looked around for anything out of the ordinary. Anything she could use to find the person, but all that was visible was the trees. Suddenly the roots of the trees shot at her. She was about to fly, when a net made of vines fell on her. A figure slow descended from above and smiled.

Shade stood firm with her fist powered up. She didn't know what it was, but she did know it was after her. She looked around with her guard up incase of being attacked. Suddenly she heard noise coming from the bushes around her. She stood still trying to pin point it and then something came out. Shade turned to face her attacker, but all she saw was a chao. The chao stared at her before going away she signed in relief. Chaos normally lives in areas like this. She turned around only to be punched in the stomach by an unknown figure.

Blaze stood still. Wait for something, anything to happen. She couldn't believe what was happening. Sonic the hedgehog, a kindhearted hero and her husband, was trying to kill her. She could still remember her wedding day with him. (A\N read 'a wedding not to forget' cuz I'm not doing a flashback) Would he, after going trough so much for them to be together, really do something like this. She touched the ring on her left hand while think about more a happy times with him.

"Chaos control!" a voice yelled.

Blaze looked up to see a giant ball of energy heading towards her. She was about to get out the way, but couldn't. It felt like some force was holding her feet down. She closed her eye waiting for the impact, but when it hit her, she felt nothing. Blaze opened her eyed to find herself in a dark place with only three lights. One above her, one above no one, and the last had Amy, Rouge, and Shade.
"Mmm where am I?" Amy said as she began to come to with the others following.

"Girl, you're all okay!" Blaze yelled relieved.

"Yeah so what" Shade said

"I see you're all awake" a voice said. The girl turned to see none other than Sonic the
hedgehog step into the light.

"Sonic!" Blaze said surprised.

"You actually though you had a chance" Shadow said stepping in.

"Shadow," Amy said

"But you never did" Silver stepped in

"Silver" Rouge said

"Sonic its time" Knuckles stepped in.

"Knuckles" Shade said

"Right" sonic said as Espio stepped in and Tails with a laser. "Guys, you know what to do"

They nodded and got ready. Shadow pulled out some throwing knives while Espio pulled out
kunais. Shadow and Espio jumped in the air and attack. The girls closed their eyes waiting for the attack, but didn't feel anything.
They opened their eyes to see Shadow and Esipo throwing their weapons, but not at them. They were throwing them at the walls, stabbing them into them, and Tails shot the laser at one of the knives. The red laser beam then bounced from one weapon to another until it reached back to start. The light from the laser plus the knives had made a shape and words.

'HAPPY ANNIVERSARY' in a heart shape.

The lights then came on with the laser still active and showed everyone who then yelled
"Surprise!"

The girls were speechless. They looked around and saw the entire room was decorated with ribbons, balloons, and stage on the side. They all turned to the guys for answers.
Eggman smiled and said, "When you three followed Sonic to the warehouse, we all ready knew and prepared for it. Sonic here came up with the idea so while you all were distracted by Sonic's plan to 'kill' Blaze, none of you would notice what today was. Rather smart I must say."

Sonic walked up to Blaze, cupped the side of her face and said, "It's our anniversary Blaze. Our very first anniversary." Blaze began to tear up. She felt so stupid to actually believe Sonic would try to do such a thing. She ran up and through her arms around Sonic's neck. Sonic smiled and wrapped his arms around her.

Shadow walked up to Amy and said, "Sorry about early Amy. I had to make sure Sonic's
anniversary went as planned."

Amy smiled and shook her head. "No. I understand Shadow. You did this for Sonic and Blaze. So I forgive you"

Shadow Smiled at her and hugged her. "Thanks Amy, but there's one last thing for me to do."

Silver went to Rouge and said, "Any chance you can forgive me?"

Rouge smiles and said, "Maybe. Take me out on a fancy date and I might forgive you"

Silver smiles nervously. "I have a bad feeling in the pit of my wallet."

"Hey sorry about knocking you out babe," Knuckles said to Shade.

"Well I guess I can forgive you this one time," Shade said as she gave Knuckles a hug.
Knuckles hugged back then asked, "I'm Sleeping on the couch tonight aren't I?"

Suddenly the lights went off except for the one on the stage and one over Sonic and Blaze. Shadow appeared on stage and said into a mic "Ladies and gentlemen. I'd like to sing a song. A song about two people who were separated, but love brought them back together."

Shadow pulled out a card from his pocket and asked "who writes this stuff?" The Eggmen
pointed at each other. "Anyway everyone please enjoy my badass singing voice. Miss V. If you please." Cream's mother nodded and started to play a slow piano song.

As the song started, Sonic pulled back for his hug and got ready. Sonic put his right arm out with Blaze's left. Placed his left on her waist while she put her right on his shoulder. Finally the two started to waltz while others joined in.

Everyone stopped dancing and clapped at Shadow's performance. Shadow took a bow then walked off stage. At the end of the stage waiting for him was the Snow Pirates and his wife, Amy the hedgehog. The Snow pirates patted Shadow on the back as he walked passed them to his wife.

"Shadow that was amazing!" Amy said amazed

"Well…yeah…I practiced really hard for them," Shadow said pointing at Sonic and Blaze.

"Dude I didn't know you could sing," Mike said with his wife Angel under his arm.

"It reminded me of our wedding," Angel said.

"Yosh tovarish. You have strong voice." Ivan said as he gave Shadow a pat on the back so hard Shadow nearly fell over.

Shadow steadied himself and looked at the couple. "thaks guys, but this isnt about my singing, its about them."

Everyone nodded and looked at Sonic and Blaze, who was staring lovingly in eachother's eyes.

Sonic smiled and said with his trademark smile, "Happy anniversary, Blaze"

Blaze smiled. Think about all thats happened. Her couriousity to follow Sonic, hearing his plan, trying he would kill her, panicing, trying to run, being hunted down , and tricked. All so she wouldn't know its was their anniversary. Just like her wedding and as they said, she would never forget this day.

"Happy anniversary, Sonic" She said as they then kissed.
