My TumblrEverything's at our fingertips
this was prompted by ~Chrisgil for our tumblr critique group 's icon, so I decided to do a quick sketch for it, and when it was approved by everyone, went around to finish it
. Around 10 of us help critique other artists' and writers' work during our spare time

Once again I found a picture of yours just when it was needed most. I found that I was forgetting to write for myself, only doing so academically and professionally. I have pondered a quill tattoo for sometime to remind me of my craft, my lifeblood, and why I love it. Your picture seemed to me like another sign pointing me towards my destiny, guiding me on my path. Thank you for creating such a wonderful soul touching piece of art.

As a writer this already makes me happy, but I love the color scheme throughout, and I love the detail. Im no visual artist so the look of the feather is just so awesome looking. very impressive

Sometimes when we write or draw, we feel like some magical is just happening and we can do our best not even paying so much attention... Those moments when our mind gets wings and our imagination flies high, they're really rera and precious.
This work reminds me of those moments: it's amazing, it really gives the idea.

To a reader, words are a door, waiting to be opened.
To a WRITER, they are but a key to unlock a world unknown to anyone but them.
This piece perfectly illustrates that fact, and personally, this is one of the few pieces I would buy as a print so that I could hang it in my room, to remind me to never give up on opening up new worlds for everyone to enjoy.
