They are, I think the span is 44" at the widest point. But since they can be set to a folded position I think they will be better for walking around Faires though they are not as sturdy as my other pairs.

The winter Faire is an indoor event since it is in December so other than the walk from the parking lot wind shouldn't be a problem.
