Description
An edit I did of my Dad's old SS. We recently purchased a film-slide scanner, this negative is well over 30+ years old, haha.As for the year, I would guess around 1972.

I believe you might mean 1972, if this is a Chevelle.
In '77, there were two headlights on top of each other on both sides, and the signalling lights were in the bumper rather than beside the headlights. Also, the grille did not show "SS" in the middle, nor did it have a chrome line crossing through it horizontally. It did have the word "Chevrolet" written in the lower driver side of the grille though.

Yes it is a Chevelle so you're probably right. I thought he said he bought it brand new but he would have been only be 12 when this model came out. That's why I thought it might be a 77', haha.

Well, some cars are sold later, yet are still new. (up to about 5-6 years or so) It's possible he got it new in '77.

Yeah its a beautiful car. Its actually Jet Black but some of the reflections turned purple in the editing process. I like how it turned out though.
