Description
Part of the 'What if?' series.
I thought up this idea when i scanning through my main faves, and as i faved 's Fetter Challenger awhile back. It got me to think,'What if the Pennsy had a Challenger?'; To be honest, it doesn't look too bad within Pennsy specification and style. Except, as the Challenger is a 4-6-6-4, it would have to run under the GG prefix (preferably higher than GG4); plus this would be perfect for running passenger coaches from time to time.

Thats something i love to do
Locomotives that were planned and were never built
They usually are really unique ideas
Other famous Unbuilt locomotive examples are the Proposed Lima 4-8-6 and 2-12-6 engines
This is a diagram of the 2-12-6
