Beautiful- I love the reflection of the orange below them. Makes for stunning compositional lines that mirror the grandeur of the architecture around them. Shows that four small people can be just as powerful and make as lasting an impression as does that which they face.
Congrats on the DD!

Just learned that today: Since the introduction of DNA analysis, 121 people on death row were proved to be innocent and had to be released. 121 innocent people who had been sentenced to death in error. Can we have the state prancing around killing innocent people?
BTW Death row is more expensive than prison sentence because it keeps the courts busy. So much for your tax money.

depending on how long the prison sentence is.
and hm the government hasn't ever been trustworthy anyways, looks like the people should just be outlaws and kill them ourselves.

Death row is more expensive per year than ordinary prison, because it keeps the courts busy with appeals. And 10-20 years of death row aren't unheard of.
What? You'd rather kill the innocent people yourself? You really have the mind of a murderer

Insults are no substitute for arguments. All it proves is that you have no respect. No respect for me, no respect for human life.
It is not our place to judge who deserves to live.

there is no god, if you are implying that. there is a god to judge us. who should judge us? religion is only for the weak that feel that they need someone around them when they do wrong, or are wanting forgiveness when no one will. there is no heaven. people should be able to judge for someone that had done wrongly against them. even if it is revengeful, they will probably get half of the justice that is needed. should our tax dollars keep those scum alive? No. they need to die for killing families, for bombing our buildings, and for destroying life. and people say we abuse the terrorists, what would people say when we start cutting off criminal's heads in front of their nation? that is exactly what the terrorists do and i feel that is exactly what criminals in mass murders or some illegal horrible act should have done.

I'm an agnostic, I don't believe in a higher being. From which follows that man is the highest being. Human life is invaluable.
When you destroy a terrorist's life, you sink down to their level. You are no better than them.
There is no god, and neither are we god: We are not infallible, nor are we able to create life. It is not our place to take life away.
I believe in the Declaration of Independence: I hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are born equal, that they are born with certain unalienable rights, that foremost among these is the right to Life.
I wonder why the USA practice death penalty when it's in breach of their founding ideals.

Agnostics are open to the idea of a higher being. your atheist if you believe there is not god. and what should we do, let them live? let them prance around like savages and destroy and kill many more people? think about if you had a daughter, or a wife, or a girlfriend and they get abused sexually, what will you do? will you pardon them for what they did because it's their choice, and "you'll sink down to their level??"
now take a family who has a prisoner of war to the Terrorists, they chop off his head, maybe this man was one of your close friends, and he is lost in the war. will you go after them? or just morn and not do shit?
and you don't to re-sight what the Declaration says. if another man takes someone's life, they're justice is for them to have their own life taken. unless it is war, and we are killing for the greater good, which most democrats and anti-war shit faces don't get. they fight for us to have an opinion and if we just let those terrorists prance around and kill people then it is irresponsible.

Being an agnostic means I'm beyond believing, but the definition of an agnostic is irrelevant to the issue of death penalty.
Now you pretend as if there were no option in between chopping their heads off and letting them prance around to kill more people.
It is wrong to kill. Killers deserve punishment. In the form of lawful trial and long prison sentences.

Killing people is never justice.
It's wrong to kill.
You can't enforce that killing people is wrong by killing people.

Jails not streets. Stop pretending going unpunished is the alternative to death penalty.
I shall pass on your praise to the photographer.

What i find haunting is that those being held are unlawful combatants. Civilians who took up arms against an invading force and held under domestic law?
What would most Americans do if Russia invaded?
it all seems so very wrong...
