Description
Took me about 3 weeks: 3 hours every day for the first 2 weeks, then staring at it the third till i got my black masking tape. Its about 36"x8"x15".It was built to serve 2 purposes, a panoramic landscape (the outter part, seen in the lower left of the picture) and a wrap-around portrait (the inside of it, shown in the center part of the picture). The reinforcements on the inside were a spur of the moment idea (seen on the right side). Its very durable, and I plan on putting two tripod mounts on it in the near future, for use with one of these [link] so I can mount it on a tripod outside without it warping too much in the wind.
Focal distance a little less than 4", the 8"x8" images so far are amazingly sharp for a pinhole (sharp enough to read a lisence plate 20' away). Once I have the oppourtunity to get some good ones up I'll post them.
Materials Used:
-Black masking tape (1/6 roll)
-Black mat board (2.5 sheets)
-Elmers glue (god only knows)
-Thin artisans sheet metal (24 square inches, for the pinholes)
-Black marker (to cover the boo-boos)
