Description
Some memories are worth keeping safe...This picture has a special significance to me. I know how she feels.
Photoshop from scratch. No references / textures used, just an airbrush and some patience.
This is my first attempt at painting a dress / complex material.
***EDIT*** Removed the tacky tacky border and darkened the image a little.

Just a note The dress is way to long for how tall she is. So lets imagine the dress is twisted and rumpled alittle when she sat down and her train which would normally be in the back shifted to the side. Yaeh thats better!! Sweet work you do!! Nice and dark with a soft touch to the face. I likie!

I LOVE THE DETAIL OF HER DRESS AND HER TEARS ITS BEAUTIFUL it also reminds me of a time when i was 17 and i held on to a memory for so long it was something very special to me and i still have it. Never forget.

Thanks! I like the dress too, although I'm getting a little bit unsure about the way the folds lie, as I get better at painting dresses. I might repaint it at some point. I'm really glad that you like it though!

Great work on the window and on the dress. You really had a "good" time on that didn't you?
The sad expression and the pose is quite perfect, the only issue I see is how she sits against the wall, the back is straight, in that pose it should curve a bit but, anyway, cool image overall!
