Description This one still needs some adjustments at the beginning before the girl jumps. A revised version will be posted soon.

UPDATE: Fixed her poses. She moves better now.

Wow, this comment I am making is pretty late compared to the others and might contain information you already know. But as a fellow animator here I go with my attempt at advice.

The way she moves back to strike the spider is awkward for using both hands. That is a type of strike for using one hand, where you reach way back and then shoot forward really fast crushing the spider.

But for making how it is work out better, with the poses you put her in, it would look better if she was further away from the viewer slightly or the spider was closer to the viewer slightly. Also the poses need some snap to them. Like when she pulls back to strike have her go way back for just 1 frame. You wouldn't really see it but it being there would give the action more strength and make it pop. Also when she lands flat, the animation stops. It needs a reaction, like a little body wiggle/bounce to it.

Trying to help through writing is a real pain and it would be easier to actually use drawings to show you. But your art and animation are great and shows the most important principle of animation. Fun. Hopefully I didn't mess up in writing any of this making it hard to understand. :^)

very beautiful!!
I also suggest to add an extra keyframe where the girl fold the knee of left leg before hitting, this would make the thing more natural

It looks great so far! I'd say you should try to avoid comic book action symbols in your animation, though... when they're only in for a frame, they're just distracting. but it depends on the style of animation you like so that's up to you.

Those speed lines were a feeble attempt at motion blur. Maybe I can ask my teacher how to get that effect with the computer instead. Thanks for the feedback!
